“Spent 1 night there for a class reunion. The fact that I didn’t have to book 2 nights made it amazing. When I got there Sandy’s customer service was above and beyond I wish there was a way to do 10 stars for her. The place is a beautiful Victorian experience. I would recommend fairlawn inn x1000. “This is a wonderful property, set in the high valley beneath the highest peaks in the entire Catskill range. Rooms are very nicely appointed. Very friendly, low key and helpful staff. The one annoying thing was the terrible lack of lighting in the front of the room, so it is extremely difficult to see the microwave and mini fridge. I wonder what the electrician was thinking when he wired the room.😂Or smoking?😂 Aside from that minor annoyance, I loved the place so much I extended my stay. AN AFTERWORD: During my stay I lost a ring that had great sentimental value. As I was planning to resize it , I knew it obviously slipped off my finger at some point during my travels. I mentioned this to the front desk, with no realistic hope of it bring found. But a few days after my checkout the hotel called me to let me know that it was found in the parking lot and they would be mailing it back to me. Now THAT is what I call EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE!!!”

“We had the most incredible two-night stay at Scribner’s Lodge in the Catskills! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful property, cozy atmosphere, and the incredible attention to detail throughout the lodge. The front desk team and staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were so accommodating with every request we had (and I definitely had many!), and every interaction was met with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to make our experience unforgettable. We also loved the restaurant — we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner during our stay, and every meal was amazing. The cocktails were absolutely fantastic as well! ( get the strawberry rhubarb drink!!) Most importantly, they welcomed our two pups with open arms. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to them, which made traveling with our dogs feel effortless and enjoyable. Scribner’s Lodge truly exceeded our expectations. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already looking forward to coming back in the fall! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!”
