“Stayed in cabin #2 which we learned was recently renovated. Super charming! Very clean. Comfy bed and great AC. Bathroom is small but has what you need and is also clean. Love that they leave you a shower scented bath bomb. Friendly host/manager. Delicious breakfast options.”

“We got married at Foxfire Mountain House last May and it was truly a dream come true. Foxfire is such a unique, quirky, and special venue, and from the very beginning the team helped bring our vision to life in a way that felt personal, thoughtful, and completely us.

One of the most special parts of the experience was having our wedding party stay on the property with us. Being able to spend the entire weekend together made the celebration feel so much more meaningful and fun, and it created memories we will cherish forever. The day itself was run absolutely seamlessly. Every detail was handled with such care that we were able to fully relax, turn our brains off, and just enjoy every moment.

The food deserves its own mention because it is incredible. We loved it so much that we decided to have a focaccia bread cake instead of a traditional wedding cake, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made. The staff went above and beyond to create a beautiful tiered bread cake for us, and our guests are still talking about how delicious and fun it was.

What truly sets Foxfire apart is how involved and organized the team is. They managed the planning so thoughtfully and coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors, which took an enormous amount of stress off our plates. Knowing everything was being handled so professionally allowed us to actually enjoy the entire process, not just the wedding day itself.

Most of all, the Foxfire team genuinely cares about their couples. You can feel the intention and heart they put into every detail, big and small. They made us feel completely supported, calm, and celebrated throughout the entire weekend. We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more caring and attentive team, and we truly had the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend Foxfire Mountain House enough.”

“Spent 1 night there for a class reunion. The fact that I didn’t have to book 2 nights made it amazing. “We loved our stay here. The room was spotless, cozy and very comfortable. It was also thoughtfully stocked with all amenities you might need. I’ve never seen a cleaner hotel. The flowers and mountain views were beautiful. It had a very cozy, quaint feel. Great location close by Phoenicia Diner, Rail Explorers & more. Can’t wait to visit again!”

“It is in a peaceful location, but there was no service at all. However, the resort provides a WiFi. The buildings are kind of old, but still comfortable. The staff were at the top of their game which made the overall experience nice.”

“I always look for quirky or vintage when booking and the Starlite doesn't disappoint! The king room with an added couch bed is wonderful, fully stocked kitchenette, the linens are flannel and comfy, cable TV, roku with Prime and Netflix, even supplied real coffee and ice trays! The back yard has a picnic table, charcoal grill and chairs for each room. Community screen house, gazebo, fire pit. Charming as all get out. 10/10!!”

“We had the most incredible two-night stay at Scribner’s Lodge in the Catskills! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful property, cozy atmosphere, and the incredible attention to detail throughout the lodge.
The front desk team and staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were so accommodating with every request we had (and I definitely had many!), and every interaction was met with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to make our experience unforgettable.
We also loved the restaurant — we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner during our stay, and every meal was amazing. The cocktails were absolutely fantastic as well! ( get the strawberry rhubarb drink!!) Most importantly, they welcomed our two pups with open arms. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to them, which made traveling with our dogs feel effortless and enjoyable.

“The Hunter Lodge exceeded expectations. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the room (with two queen beds) was spacious and comfortable. The beds were soft and the pillows super fluffy, which I love! we especially appreciated the heat lamp in the bathroom to keep you toasty or dry wet clothes. The decor in the room and throughout the lodge can be described as elevated ski lodge - deep hunter greens, black wainscoting and plaid carpeting - with warm wood accents throughout. It was the perfect combination of lived in and contemporary. Included continental breakfast and all day hot chocolate/tea/coffee made it really comfortable for a family of 4. Lastly, it’s a a 3-minute drive to Hunter Mountain. We’ll definitely be back!!”

“Pretty good, nice mountain. Good snow coverage, lift lines were not too bad. I would say most of their trails from the top are on the harder side. At the same time they have planty on easy trails with separate lifts.”
