And the steak tartare with truffle chips was a lovely surprise - very delicious. Washed down with a Hefeweisen. My friends had the sauerbraten and flounder schnitzel (not pictured)

7433 Main St, HunterWe had a table for 6 for dinner. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had the chips and dip (so good!) and wings for appetizers. The mains were excellent (spicy fried chicken sandwich was delicious) and the portions were very generous. Would definitely go back for dinner. If you're in the area give it a try for sure.

Our food was cooked with care as my wife’s steak was the perfect temp, the veggies were all fresh, and my chicken sandwich was crispy and moist. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a resort town.
I’m surprised by the negative reviews for what was a surprisingly wonderful dining experience. Y’all should review how digestion works and drink less before making FP allegations.

13 Scribner Hollow Rd, HunterI can’t say enough good things about Prospect at Scribner’s. From the moment we arrived everything just felt right cozy but upscale vibe, beautiful mountain views, and that perfect cabin-chic atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
The food was incredible, every dish fresh and full of flavor, and the cocktails were just as impressive. The staff couldn’t have been better — friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our night special. Worth every penny for the quality, the view, and the experience. Easily one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time.
