1112 Morton Boulevard, KingstonThis vet was absolutely amazing. My dog was having a severe pancreatitis attack (which they diagnosed, I had no idea!) and they look such amazing care of him. Everyone was attentive, gave constant updates, and I felt so comfortable when he had to be hospitalized there. I was also so scared to see the price, and the bill was extremely reasonable and affordable for the care he received. I will definitely be coming back if I have another pet emergency.

55 Greenkill Ave, KingstonI attended two of Pawsitive Vybe distance learning classes "Disc Dog Foundation" and "Bitework for Behavior".All I can say is AWESOME!Apryl and Ron shared their training experience with students, they made great lessons with video support, group chat, one to one skype chat.... video assessment as feedback from each of us. Even I consider myself a good human and dog trainer, from them I learned new ways of approaching the canine behavior.Some people are so lucky to have these guys in neighborhood, for me would mean to fly 13 hours. I never put my dogs on airplane cargo hold and I never will, but to spend a week with Ron and Apryl would be the only reason.If I recommend Pawsitive Vybe?Definitely YES!

416 East Chester Street, KingstonWe stopped there Friday evening 9/25/26 at approximately 7pm. We always enjoy the ice cream that Mickey’s provides that is why I still rate it 4 stars. Well our experience was not the greatest Friday evening. I ordered two small ice cream cones (1) oat milk with rainbow sprinkles & (1) regular vanilla, no sprinkles. We like that Mickeys offer the oat milk option as some of us cannot have dairy. The young girl that waited on us must have had a lot going on that evening, as she could not seem to comprehend my order, that I had to repeat twice. My family member suffered last night from not getting what we ordered due to the counter person not following our order. We will still support this local business and give it another try again. I would recommend some extra training to the counter employees to take orders seriously and possibly writing down a specialty order , as it can and did create havoc on someone’s experience and enjoyment. Thank You

582 Broadway, KingstonThe desserts we had were exceptionally good. This was the best part of the meal. The scallop crudo was small, boring and expensive. The half-chicken main course was very good, and was enough to split between 2 people, but required at least one of them to be good at disassembling a chicken. The atmosphere was very loud. The place is toddler friendly, which is great if you have a toddler, and not so great if you do not. The restaurant is very popular, so reservations are a must. If you are hip and cool, you will probably enjoy it more than I did. It was not bad, but IMO it is a bit over-rated, as the only truly standout dishes we had were the desserts, and they were fantastic. Also, the bread was very very good. The drinks were OK. The price was a bit too high for what were served, in general. Mostly, it was just too loud for eating, for me. I am glad we tried it. 4 stars because- why not? I do not run down a decent restaurant with excellent service that is trying very hard just because it does not suit me.

I've been enjoying poke bowls in Hawaii and California for years. I can't stop showing off about my poke bowls history and I'm not sorry. I happened to stop into First Capital Poke on a whim and ordered the classic poke bowl. It was PERFECT. The gentlemen creating my poke bowl was curating the ingredients that would soon consume my lunch into a work of art. Layered with flavor and taste. Overflowing with seasoning and freshness. It was all so good. Thrilled to have discovered this gem and I will be back. The fish, the avocado, the seaweed, it was all too good. Cancel my next flight out west, because I found my new favorite poke spot.

20 Wiedy Road, KingstonDonated 2 very large bags of Blue Buffalo dog food. Asked if we could see the animals & was told yes. However, when we went inside to look at the cats we were told we were not allowed to be in the cat room without an appointment?? That seemed odd but we apologized and left quietly. I would think people would be allowed to browse the animals since they are up for adoption. Regardless of the negative experience, we appreciate all that they do to home unwanted animals.
