Hunter Tavern
7433 Main St, HunterWe had dinner here twice during our stay at the Hunter Lodge. Both times we had the pleasure of being served by Stephanie, who was warm, knowledgeable, and very patient :) The first night, we ordered the smash burger and chicken sandwich, and our kids had the chicken tenders and kids hamburger. All meals were great, but the smash burger was the winner! There was also live music, which made the meal even more special. The second evening we had the fish and chips, kids mac and cheese, and the gnocchi (served pot pie style). Fries were hot and delicious both nights. Again, we were really happy with the dishes, and shout out to the team for keeping the restaurant open on a Monday (when it’s normally closed) because of the snowstorm. It made our stay that much more memorable!! Looking forward to coming back in the fall :)

Hunter Mountain Brewery
7267 NY-23A, HunterSuch kind and accommodating people! Jaie was our waitress and was attentive, prompt, and so nice to our very large party of 20. The entire night was made possible due to the great staff here, absolutely would be back. Food was delicious, with large portions! Additionally, beautiful property for great photos!

Prospect at Scribner's
13 Scribner Hollow Rd, HunterMy husband and I had a wonderful experience at Prospect. Though initially taken aback by the casual look, vibe and customers, we settled in nicely and took in the spectacular views. Service was stellar-attentive, well timed and not overbearing. The summer salad and trout rillette were outstanding; burger and snapper superb (but only one white asparagus?), the gelato and olive oil cake perfect. Will definitely return to try the other plates.
