“Love coming here. They have everything you can think of, from books on every subject, to hijabs, abayas, ihrams, etc. I especially love the textbooks, workbooks, and other Islamic story books and games for kids which are a great resource for the little ones!”
“I'd been meaning to visit this place for a while, but getting out to the suburbs of Long Island from Manhattan is a trek. Luckily, I finally got to see it on a nice day and arrived just in time for a fantastic tour. The tour guide was very entertaining and knew his stuff, and the house is in great condition. A highlight was seeing the lilac tree that grew "in the dooryard" and could be seen out the window right over Whitman's childhood bed. I didn't spend much time at the museum, as it was mostly stuff to read, but it was set up nicely and they had a few cool things, like a book signed by Whitman and a first edition Leaves of Grass, plus a fun gift shop. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're a fan of Walt Whitman!”

“First time in today! They had the cutest things. I was upset I was in a rush to get to the airport. I wanted to look around, I wanted one of everything!The whole store is very inviting, clean organized! I was shocked to see that in a card and gift store. the woman at checkout who helped me sign up for the rewards program was super sweet can't wait to go back!”
“My first visit was great, the space was formerly a nail salon, so the raised platform is now a stage for poetry readings. Lots of tables of gently used books, and brand new poetry books from store-owned Local Gems Press, so great place for gifts. Speaking of gifts, they sell their own brand of tea, PoeTea, unique flavors of loose leaf tea in smart packaging. White, Green, Black and Rooibos Teas blended with tasty herbal elements. Definitely delicious. Check it out.”

“Scholastic book fair is great it's in a warehouse in the back simple to find... Entrance is a little door that says enter here. Huge selection of books , posters, pencils etc . In addition everything is BOGO. Great place for teachers”
