About Gadabout Transportation Services
Gadabout Transportation Services is a highly valued community resource that offers affordable and reliable transportation, primarily for medical appointments, shopping, and errands. The service is known for its friendly, courteous drivers and helpful staff who work hard to provide a great experience. Rides are typically inexpensive, costing just a few dollars, and are often subsidized or covered by Medicaid, making it especially beneficial for seniors and those with physical challenges. The service operates with limited hours, usually from around 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, and aims to get clients to their destinations within an hour of the preferred time. While this can mean some waiting, users find the service convenient and worth the cost, often preferring it over taxis or owning a car. Many appreciate that Gadabout opens up possibilities for medical care and daily activities that might otherwise be difficult or impossible to access. Drivers are praised for their professionalism and kindness, and the dispatch team works quickly to accommodate requests, including last-minute trips. Although larger vans are used, which some would prefer smaller vehicles for environmental reasons, the fleet generally suits the needs of clients with mobility challenges. Overall, Gadabout Transportation Services is regarded as a helpful, caring, and affordable service that significantly improves the quality of life for its users.

This was our first time using Gatabout and we were very pleased. They were on time for our pick up and when I called for an early return trip, they quickly got a hold of dispatch and had someone there literally within minutes. Both drivers were very polite and professional. Highly recommend.

Friendly drivers, free service. Just for the sake of environmentalism i wish they had smaller vans instead of big buses, but i guess they are probably necessary for wheelchairs.
I am super grateful for this service that opens up the possibilities for medical care that i can confidently get to in the area.
