“This is my third time staying at Stone Gate. The place is absolutely perfect. What stands out is their attention to details. The staff is incredible. Everyone is welcoming. I love how kids can be slightly independent. They can walk over to the playground, basketball and soccer area. Not many places are like that. The lake swimming area is ideal for swimmers with different levels of abilities. At night it was so relaxing to sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. Just all around great fun.”

The owners and staff are professional, kind, and prompt with requests, and they are just Amazing!
The facility is beautiful. They are constantly updating, improving, and finding ways to upgrade your experience.
Clean. The rooms smell fresh and CLEAN when you walk in. Staff are continually cleaning and tidying the outdoor common areas and are keen on safety.
The free nightly activities offered are perfect for anyone, but they have a huge economic impact on a family of five.
The money spent was well worth it!
We have been a returning client for five years and plan to continue doing so. The only time we went elsewhere was when there was no vacancy for the time we chose.

“Fantastic from start to finish, I love this place! I've rented a cabin (Otter) and suite (5). Owners are wonderful and were able to accommodate an early check in. Both the cabin and suite were spacious and clean. You're also close to plenty of restaurants and and the location is easily accessible from the highway. Plan to return again!”
“My niece just got married there this past weekend. Historic Castle with beautiful views. We did not stay on site. The wedding party stayed in the suites in the castle after the wedding and they loved it. The property is so beautiful. Especially this time of year. They had the outdoor fire place and outdoor heaters on for the chilly night. The whole entire staff was so wonderful. From the food, to the setting up and execution of the whole event. Went so smoothly!! Your Staff was very attentive and kept the appetizers, drinks and food coming. I would recommend the mashed potatoe station! That was a hit with us. Highly recommend this venue. Thank you all for a memorable day!! 10/17/2024.”

“Joe was an amazing host. We had the George room with a deck and view of the lake. The place was quiet and tranquil no loud music. The best part is direct access to the lake with kayaks, boats, boards, all at your disposal and inclusive! Ask Joe about boat rentals and efoils as well. Will be back definitely! “We had a wonderful stay at Cramer’s Point Lake Breeze! Todd personally met us when we arrived to make sure everything with our accommodations was perfect, which was such a thoughtful touch. The lake access was excellent, a short walk down the hill, the walk back up gets the heart pumping. The fishing was spot on—such a great bonus to our trip. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot to stay!”

“I simply can't say enough about the Sagamore! Each visit always seems even better than the previous. The staff is wonderful and there are always events and extras going on. This was a Thanksgiving event weekend and it did not disappoint. If you like outdoor fire pits and outdoor heated pools...the Sagamore is the place to go. Rooms are well appointed and clean...food is far above average and consistent. But let's face it...we will always keep coming back because the staff makes certain our stay is awesome!
Back again last weekend...this time to La Bella Vita! Even more outstanding food, exceptional service, and a view like no other on Lake George! Adding two more photos...their apps are delicious, and HUGE props to the chef's special Lobster Ravioli!!!!”

“We had a great stay! The rooms are so clean and it is so quiet. Our room was cleaned every day of our stay. So nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a made bed with fresh towels and refilled coffee! The location was great (within walking distance to several shops and restaurants) and the price is affordable. Next time we are in the area we would love to stay again.”
“Prime location for Canada st LG. Great property for a great price during the last weekend of October. The lake views and beach area were super relaxing and beautiful to hang out next to. Will be coming back if we are in the area.”
“The location of this hotel is great. It is only a short 5-minute walk to the village. The cabins are perfect for a getaway. The staff is friendly and professional. They can answer any questions that you have. The cabins include your own private grill. The grounds are perfect with a private beach access Lake access, and kayaks. They also have a fire pit that they sell wood and fire starters right on site.”

“Booked a room last minute and was pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. The room was clean and reasonably priced. the place was nice and quiet. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip. Jus far away from all the camotion from the town of lake George But not too far.”
“This is the 2nd time in 3 years that me and the wife made the trip. Once again we were satisfied. We were able to check in early. Swim in the heated pool.We also learned that the poolside snack bar does breakfast, lunch and serves liquor. Chris W runs this bar and is super friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding activities and places of interest. P.S we also swam in the lake. Definitely going back next year when the season starts a week before Memorial Day.”
“My family and I have been traveling to lake George for 3 years now.
Stay in the same location and it’s great.
Clean, safe and convenient.
I felt safe at any hour of the day or night we went out to go down by the lake. It’s secure for children. The entrance is one way in and one way out.
To top it off Wendy makes you feel at home! Shes great, very pleasant with all her guest. She really makes a difference.
We honestly look forward seeing Wendy and come up each year!”
“The costumer service we have been experiencing during our stay has been the best we ever have. The guy has been on point when everything we need and the most friendly kind person we ever met staying somewhere. The service alone will make us come back every year. Love that it’s a family owned small business which you unfortunately don’t get that often anymore. We are leaving tomorrow and will probably even add a day to our stay to stay longer.”

“We just returned from a 4 night stay in the Cottage and it was excellent. Staff was very friendly especially Heather and Rachel.
Room was very, very clean. Bed extremely comfortable and the sheets smelled so fresh. Cottage is very cozy and I was able to keep all our luggage on the huge dresser, and off the floor.
It is off season so very few guests and very quiet. Everything is within walking distance so that was perfect. The beach was just beautiful and right outside our private patio. My only "con" was that the plumbing was noisy at times but very minor.
Will definitely be back!”

The housekeeper gentleman was very nice, accommodating, & best of all took the time out of his day to play basketball with my son. He then introduced his son to mine & they had a blast at the arcade just down the road. My son made a friend & I'll always appreciate the kindness we received from The Countryside Inn.”
