“I brought my Maltese here to be groomed today, his groomer, Frankie, was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was fantastic! I warned her about his behavior (he doesn’t love being touched/groomed around his face) and she really exceeded my expectations!! “This is the best way I have found to get the corals I want at reasonable prices. I love the auction sales style. Gives me the control over what im willing to pay and often gets me a cheap frag that becomes a treasured fav! The livestock is healthy, typically opens shortly after introduction and has survived some unfortunate LPS alk instability where corals from other places did not.The online service - especially Randy- goes above and beyond during the entire process, from sales to ensuring safe arrival - and even with prompt answers to tank and coral questions anytime. With all the shipping challenges - like weather, work schedules, etc., this is important to a landlocked reefer. BTW, ARC's shipping prices during sales are the best I've seen.Even when I don't intend to buy, I love getting notified about an upcoming ARC Auction and will often watch. I usually end up buying. Love this store!”

“It had been a while since I shopped here, but I recently became a pet parent again. First of all, I was SHOCKED to see prices for canned cat food WAY LOWER than the grocery stores! I thought they'd be higher! I was also quite happy to see a big selection of feline products. If you're looking for higher-end products (a bit out of my price range now), they carry these as well. I'll also say that the staff here are absolutely amazing. Every single time I've been here over the years, the customer service has been excellent and the employees are cheerful and knowledgeable. My daughter manages a pet store in another state, so I know a bit about the industry from her and so I don't give underserved accolades. Well-done, Pet Supplies Plus.”

She truly cares about every dog walking through the door! She is very informative of her products. Her store is so beautiful and cute! Even a sitting area for you and your dog to watch tv, a self serve coffee bar/snacks for you and your dogs to hang there :) she throws doggie events as well! Highly recommended”

The staff have been knowledgeable and informative about what might be good options for my puppy every time I’ve gone in to get something (food, toys, treats, supplements, whatever). I would say the prices are comparable to online or Homegoods items as well; maybe a bit more but nothing outrageous and worth it to us to support local business. Love this place!”

“The customer service at the Petco in Williamsville and the Petco in Amherst is outstanding :-) I cannot say enough good things about it. This afternoon I called the Williamsville location to see if the loaches I was waiting for were in stock - Melissa in the aquarium department was so pleasant and helpful on the phone, even as the store was clearly very busy. I stopped in the store after work during rush hour and Melissa was again just above and beyond helpful. I had just missed a 50% off aquarium sale - but she let me know approximately when I can look out for the next 50% off sale - so I will not miss it this time. Melissa also took quite a bit of her time to discuss 2 of my aquarium set-ups (I have 10 aquariums and I always appreciate advice and tips as I am learning). She is very knowledgeable. I have a lot of bettas and cichlids - and we were discussing caves and hiding spots. She recommended trying out hamster/guinea pig plastic tubes as another affordable option, on top of the rocks/driftwood/caves I already have. What a great idea! As long as I have been into aquariums - that had never even occurred to me. Thank you, Melissa :-) My African Dwarf Frogs especially love the plastic tunnels/tubes I added to their tank. I added them to 3 of my other tanks and the loaches, bettas, and cichlids love the new hiding spots as well. In addition- Petco has an awesome aquarium plant selection! A lot of the staff at Petco have multiple pets - as do I - and it is always a fun experience to talk with employees at Petco who are as passionate about their pets as I am. I had a great conversation with the girl at the check-out this evening as well. I was buying a gecko screen cage along with my aquarium supplies - and she also had recently added a gecko to her pet family - so we discussed what we had learned so far, tips on holding geckos when they are young, and so on. Also - they matched the online price for me when I bought the cage, since I wanted to see it in the store before I decided to buy it. Everyone who works at this Petco is just so friendly and helpful - and there is always a manager nearby for additional or complicated questions. This goes for the Amherst location as well. I visit both locations frequently, and would recommend shopping at both of them for any of your pet needs.”
“I brought both of my cats patch and paint it in for haircuts today. And the salon groomer was wonderful with my kids. “I’m always at Pet Smart on Walden Ave buying feeders for my fish. Met a young man name Ryan today who was working in that department. He was very kind and very professional with assisting me with the feeders. I needed 200 and he, without hesitation, starting catching them and counting them out. I’ve had other employees question me why I need so many feeders but he just started catching them. His customer service was excellent and just wanted to express my sincere “thank you” to him for being so helpful and mannerable! His parents raised a wonderful respectful son! ????!”

He is somewhat skittish, but CAT V did a beautiful job on him. His cut turned out even better than I imagined it would. She took extra special care of my sweet boy Michael and we WILL return to her for all future grooming.”
