“I just inherited a lot of stuff!
I had no room at home for all of this, so I investigated the Extra Space facility in Glen Head, NY.
I was greeted by a delightful Manager, Jeff Post. He explained the sizes, pricing, and showed me how to navigate around the facility.
When I decided on an appropriate size, he showed me to the nearest locker.
The signup was simple and straightforward.
When I moved in, I was greeted by the Asst Manager, Joe Hylas. Working with Joe was another delighful experience.
ExtraSpace runs a top-notch business with an extraordinary customer service oriented staff.
Keep in mind, the introductory price is just that. Expect a price increase in a few months.
Using Extra Space solved my temporary storage problem. Don't hesitate!

“Our Son and D-I-L hired The Moving Doctor for a short move from Syosset to East Norwich, but Wow! they have a LOT of stuff. The Moving Doctor arrived on-time, with adequate trucks and crew, and ample amounts,of packing supplies even-though packing was not part of their contract.
Friendly, polite, hard working, and they stayed until the job was done!”

“I’ve been a customer at Public Storage in Port Washington for years, and the team here never disappoints. The guys always take good care of me. Karl is incredibly helpful every time I see him, and Oscar always has a smile on his face, no matter how many questions I throw his way.
What really stands out is how well they maintain the property. Every time I’m there, I see them actively cleaning and keeping the place in great shape. If you’re thinking about moving your stuff here, I’d highly recommend it. Great service, great people!”

“A budget storage facility opened up across the street (CubeSmart) and I can tell you that:
1) Saftey: They do not have safe gated and keypad security access like Westys does
2) Cleanliness: The floors are CubeSmart are carpet and get very dirty. There are always people cleaning the floors and landscape maintenance guys outside at Westys to keep the appearance crystal clean
3) Accessibility and Lighting: Westys always has the best layout and big elevators to facilitate any move, the staff in-house is there to assist with anything you need (from super cheap rental trucks for a day (for small in-town moves) — to unrestricted access to carts, handtrucks, furniture dolly’s etc.)
There is no comparison. This Westy’s location is by far the best one I’ve been to. Cheers!”
“Best moving and receiver you could ever ask for! Bill and his team are amazing!!!! So nice, organized, they inspect everything that comes in with a fine tooth comb to make sure its in perfect order for my clients. They also have a team of experts to call on if something needs to be refinished or touched up with paint. They are fantastic! Highly recommend them for your moving or receiving needs!!!”

“Store Space Self Storage was highly recommended by my mover, Movin’ & Removin’, who introduced me to Nick and Jackie for my immediate storage needs. Nick was very accommodating and professional. Later I met Jackie, who displayed the same professionalism and was very knowledgeable. They both know that moving is always stressful and emotional, so they helped to make it a more positive experience.
The largest unit was sold out, but Nick was able to find two of the next size units near each other. I appreciated his ability to figure out a creative solution without just saying that my needs couldn’t be met. He was calm, patient and supportive when I was overwhelmed. Additionally, he took the time to explain all the details and fees.
The issues I have with the company is that they prorate your move ‘in’; however, not for the move ‘out’. If you move at the beginning of the month then you pay for the entire month anyway. Also, I understand that there is an administrative fee of $30, but I think it is excessive that it is added to each rental unit. I acknowledge that these are corporate policies and not Nick or Jackie’s decision.
People are quick to complain, but I wanted to take the time to compliment. I hope that management will recognize and commend Nick & Jackie (and maybe at some point adjust their policies) for going above and beyond expectations! I look forward to continuing to work with them and referring the facility.”

What impressed us the most was how they handled a few pieces of furniture that were already damaged prior to our move. They actually repaired some of the items !
