“I have been renting storage space here for about 10 years and always found it to be a clean and safe location.
This week I visited frequently to take care of some things. Each time I went the staff greeted me with a friendly smile and answered all my questions.
I want to especially thank Andre, Michael and Millie, who were so helpful . Michael let me know the steps I needed to take when I close a unit (I’m moving). Millie also checked on my account when I had questions about that. And Andre went out of his way to help me find something to use so I could reach boxes that were too far back for me. I really appreciated them being attentive and professional.
I highly recommend this storage space - it has everything you need - a great location, clean and comfortable units, and a friendly, professional staff.”
“I simply cannot recommend Airsea enough - they made what felt the impossible, possible. I was moving from Ireland to the USA and I was overwhelmed with the process with a reactive and anxious dachshund. I spent well over 6 month researching and worrying when I learnt he would fly as cargo. I was not just worried about the logistics but how he would handle the flight.
I was put into contact with Daire from the beginning and he was absolutely incredible throughout. He always responded promptly, no matter how many questions I had (and I had a lot!). He was kind, thorough and genuinely cared — it never felt transactional.
On the day of the flight, Bridie met my mum at the IAG Cargo Terminal. My mum was just as nervous as I was, but she said Bridie was a calming, wonderful presence. She handled everything so professionally and with a warm, reassuring attitude — my mum couldn’t speak more highly of her.
Digby arrived safely (and surprisingly very happy) at JFK, and whilst it was a long night of waiting, everything went perfectly!

“Storage is a bit of a crapshoot anywhere you go in NYC and somehow I've managed to luck out with City Closet Storage being a relatively decent option. Their storage service was fairly convenient for how often I was in LIC and the facilities were solid, with prices ranging from $90 a month for a 5x4 to something more premium like $400-500 for a 10x22. When it comes to these things, it boils down to price, quality of space, and availability. The latter is where City Closet thrived. The other thing I really liked was that they allowed for parking / loading to be directly in the building. Newer and larger places such as CubeSmart (#1) will usually have a parking lot but CCS has a storage ramp where things can be loaded directly without bringing it to the street. The storage room conditions are solid and they do the job as long as air conditioning / temperature control isn't required for the stored items. I am not a huge fan of the service. There is someone in the office at all times, but they're just not that helpful. i've called ahead of time and have been met with quippy, short answers and find their website to be cumbersome (#2) and not particularly user-friendly. They will have special deals during every season, which is pretty typical of most places. Ultimately, it is a no frills storage and expectations should be kept at a minimum. It's a space to rent - nothing more, nothing less. _____________ (#1) (#2) Google Chrome doesn't like it either.”
