“Great store! They have so many healthy and organic items that you can't find other places. Really nice selection as well. Very impressed with the produce section and the selection of veggies there. I also love that you can refill your own spice jars with organic spices so you don't have to keep buying new jars! They have coffee beans, a little bakery, prepared foods, fresh soups, muffins, scones, all kinds of healthy drinks and snacks. Next time I go I plan on taking much more time to look around but I was very impressed. Plus the chicken was decently priced.”

“The butcher was very personable and knowledgeable. He helped me select the perfect bone-in ribeyes. I grilled one for lunch and it was among the best I've ever tasted. It was fresh, well-marbled, tender, and juicy. What more could I ask for?”

“Great for staples. If you just need the basics you will save a lot of money shopping here. They're expanding the specialty items they carry but it's hit or miss. If you're looking for something very specific you might have to make another stop. Overall it's worth it for the majority of produce dairy and some proteins.”

The 3 clucks from the morning chicken woke me up as per usual. I decided to go to the store today. That's when things took a dark and twisted turn.( like one of those twisted enclosed slides at the park but not as fun. Although some of those slides give you a real brush burn when sliding down so i guess depending on the slide, it could theoretically be better sliding down the slide. Or did I mean technically. But then again this is a figurative scenario so maybe neither of them work, ...or maybe they mean the same thing in this instance. Well the point is that I feel like those two words are interchangeable.) Now back to the story. So I entered the store and was immediately taken back in shock (not in an electrical way though) and awe. This place was like the lost city of Atlantis. Golds and riches scattered across the store. It was a dream come true, that is until...tragedy struck me. I don't know how but I have somehow managed to cut myself on my finger. I could see the light and hear the choir of angels singing. This was surely the beginning of the end... or so I had thought. If for not the quick thinking and actions of two of the cashiers. no one would be reading any of this today. With no regard for their own life the quickly sprung into action. The presence of mind to stay calm and focused during such a serious event truly is remarkable. They patched me up and made sure I was here today to be able to tell my story of their heroic actions. Thank You to everyone who helped. This is truly an amazing place.”

“For over a couple of years now, I generally have not stepped foot in a grocery store ... I LOVE THE PICK-UP! I was picking up at Walmart on Transit in Williamsville/Clarence for most of that time, which is the most convenient location for me. But a few months ago they abruptly stopped pick-up services due to staffing shortages. This would not do, as I do a grocery pickup for our family of four nearly every week. So I quickly reset my online cart to this Transit Depew location, which thankfully has never had an interruption in their pick-up service. Once I started coming to this Walmart for grocery pick-up, even though it is a little farther of a drive for me, I haven't stopped. The quality of the pick-up service here is far better than the Transit Williamsville/Clarence service. The staff is much friendlier, and they take an extra minute to put your items more carefully in bags (if you bring your own bags), compared to the other Walmart that at times would ignore my bags and just chuck things in haphazardly. Sure, it isn't perfect bagging here, they are still on a timer, but it is at least adequate and very friendly. Plus they are more careful with leak'ables, bagging any cleaning products or other bottles in plastic first. Also, I never have to wait very long here for my pick-up order to come out, versus the other Walmart I had to wait over and hour a few times! Here my order is usually out in ten minutes or less from the time I check-in, on occasion a bit longer, but never over an hour wait. And overall I think this Walmart has a better variety of the kinds of products my family uses. We are all vegetarian, some vegan, some keto, and I think the plant-based and keto products here are more abundant than at the other store. It has been great trying new things, many of which have become regulars now in my pickup shopping repertoire here. And, like any Walmart, you really can't beat the prices on a lot of things. As grocery prices go up-up-up, yes, sadly Walmart's prices have gone up too. But comparatively to other grocery stores, Walmart generally still has everyone beat. So for the convenience and the savings, I will continue to regularly use this Walmart's pick-up service indefinitely. It is a really wonderful service for our busy fam', thanks so much for offering this FREE and FANTASTIC pick-up perk to your shoppers!”

“Nick was at the register when I accidently gave him a unsuspecting twenty dollar bill folded in with the rest of my money. With out a sweat, he pointes it out and gave it right back. As a business having Nick doing your cash handling, his truthfulness is a substantial assist for any business. Honesty fornyour customers mean everything.”

“I forgot to buy cough drops at the DG store I work at so I stopped at the one in E. Aurora on my way to church and picked some up there. Very nice staff. That store isnt as big as the one I work at, but still was able to find what I was looking for. (I supply the church with cough drops when the weather starts to get cooler!)”

“I drove out of my way to work there when they needed cashier help. The staff was very nice and the manager was glad I was there to help out. Although I've never been at that store before, I did my best to help customers find items and I met a lot of nice customers there who appreciated me. If they ever needed cashier help again, I would definitely drive out there again. It was a 45-minute drive, but the kind staff makes it worth it. I also love the toy pigs they have on the registers for customers to squeeze when we have to do restocking in between cashiering!”

“Was in the store today around 530-6 pm. I accidentally left my wallet under the flap in one of the carts. it has my social security cards as well as my children's. It had all of my money for christmas For my kids. my medical cards for myself and my children, as well as around $40-$60 in cash and my bank card and other cards. I asked to review tapes to see if someone maybe took the cash and threw the wallet onto a shelf or something at least and I feel as though I got a bit of an attitude when I asked. the guy said it's on a 24 hour loop so theycouldnt until tomorrow so I asked to come in tomorrow to see and he then said the manager has to do it and that cant happen til Monday ( which is absolutely fine!) but it just felt like I was a bother to even ask. It didn't seem as though anyone really wanted to help much Except for 1 lady in the store That was shopping. I go here all the time! I am a regular, i absolutely love the workers but today I felt like I got attitude just for asking.”

“I see several of the negative reviews left here on Tops pharmacy Broadway Depew are recent reviews. It is true that they did get slammed as soon as Rite Aid closed. I also miss the convenience of Rite Aid Lancaster and it's drive-thru and admittedly lines at Tops to pick up your prescription were long, one time my wife counted 16 people.

Between my wife and I, there are 11 prescriptions each month, some of them are due on different days .Even with the chaos I always got my prescriptions correctly. There were a couple times I had to call about matters like explanations on specific copays and I found the staff to be very helpful, warm and friendly. 3 months later the lines have shortened and I believe they do a pretty good job of keeping the line moving.

Prescriptions were automatically transferred there from Rite Aid and admittedly I had considered maybe moving my prescriptions to either Walgreens or Walmart pharmacy after I saw the long lines. However at this point I've already gotten to know the pharmacists, they have been very welcoming and always take the proper amount of time to address any questions or issues that I might be having with a specific prescription. I wish they had a drive-thru and I also wish to the pharmacy was closer to the main entrance however I base my review on the quality service that I have received thus far.”

“I want to genuinely want to give thee biggest shout out to the florist and the flower department. I dont think they get the recognition they deserve. I came in today with my son who has a hard time in stores and very impulsive. I needed a bouquet of flowers for my best friend who just gave up birth to her son on her birthday. Super special occasion. The lady working was so patient with my son who could not keep his hands to himself in the dept. I handed her 3 bouquets to put together as one and she did an amazing job. I haven't gone anywhere else for flowers in a really long time. Thank you for being kind ❤️”

“I’m a little surprised by the negative reviews for this location. This has been MY neighborhood Tops for the past fifteen years or so. Every employee I’ve ever encountered here has been friendly, helpful and courteous, from Customer Service to the Pharmacy to the Deli to the Front End. The store is clean, organized and well laid out. Sure, people have good days and bad days, but I’ve never encountered anything other than a wonderful experience. I think they’re doing a terrific job. I don’t know how many folks read grocery store reviews, but this Tops deserves a better rating. Keep up the great work!”

“TOPS is a great place to shop for food. This place is always clean and has a wonderful produce and meat department. In some stores you have to cook your meat right away or it will start turning brown but not TOPS their meat is so fresh if you need to wait a day or two you can.”
