“I took my car to Berdar's after recommendations from several friends who all agreed that Berdar's is consistently honest with good service. This was my experience as well. I thought I knew what the problem was with my car and they could have charged me through the nose to "fix it". Instead, I got an honest, cheaper fix and a lot less stress in my life. Will do business with this shop again.”
“Based on a recommendation I gave this shop a try. It is a busy shop, so they were only able to get me in 1 month later than other shops in the area. But it was definitely worth the wait. They offered to have me bring my car in, to see if it was drive-able for the two months. Excellent service, good communication, and they even washed my car outside and in. “I have been going to George's for years since George was running it and now with his son Corey at the helm. They have always done right by me. I own a 2007 Toyota rav 4, and that car runs like a top, and it's because of them. They have not only repaired my car but taught me along the way. They have taught me how to care for my car and keep it in top form. They work with my budget and are always respectful knowledgeable and friendly. He researches any problems fixes them in a timely manner, and provides excellent customer service. It is a family business, so they are closed weekends. They also have reasonable pricing.”

DiLorenzo walked me through what happened, told me what was urgent/what could wait, and got me all fixed on the same day.The team was communicative, straight forward, and didn't try to push any products or services on me that weren't actually necessary. “So, I’m always extremely hesitant to go to any body shops or mechanic mainly because I’ve been screwed over by them and or are VERY over priced… going into a mechanic and or body shop can be overwhelming and intimidating. On 2/13/24 I got two flat tires which has never happened before, I googled nearest body shop and called THEY GOT ME IN AND OUT OF THERE in less than an hour!!! Not only that gave me an amazing deal with two new tires!!! I can honestly say it was the most calm, easy, and fast. I will never go to another mechanic. “They did a wonderful job on my vehicle fender and at an awesome price compared to other auto body shops around Troy and Albany. My one complaint is that it took an extra day to finish because of issues with paint colors ON ANOTHER CAR. It wouldnt of been bad but it was highly Inconvenient being my ride to and from work and kids ride to and from work was the same person who work night and for 4 ( not 3 ) DAYS HE GOT NO SLEEP. And they didnt even discount me any money for the inconvenience.”

“Our car was stuck on the highway on a weekend morning near Albany NY. We called a major roadside service, and through shear incompetence, waited hours for a tow truck that never came. We called Joe, and he was there in 20 minutes. He had us fixed up in short order. We are thankful for his fast and friendly service.I don’t think he takes credit cards. Venmo or cash, if I recall correctly.(Note: The image on Google Maps is a house. I was initially concerned that this was not a real towing service. Thankfully it was and is.Joe: You really need to put a picture of your truck or business on Google Maps)”

“Summary:In terms of quality work, they do a terrific job. But from my own experience, I wouldn't go back to them if I needed a job to be done at a timely fashion. (For More Detail, Read Bellow) Issue I had: I went to them because I had a broken mirror and two of my passengers doors that had dents and crashes; with an additional issue with my passenger door not opening Price: Their pricing is a bit on the steep end of things, so if you're paying out of pocket, get ready to pay a big amount I'm terms of Job Getting Done:They fixed everything I enlisted for to be fixed with no issue Employees:Very helpful and were apologetic of the extra time that they took Overall:The only issue I had was that I was given a time frame of when the job would be done ( which was two weeks) and it was stretch for an additional week; it would have possible stretch further if I was not persistent on calling them. Other than that, the work they did was great and I thank them for it.”

He was very polite and was kind enough to allow us to stay in his office after hours until a family member could pick us up. Chris saw that I was on O2 and didn’t light his cigarette while we were there. I’m sorry some customers have had a bad experience but we had no problems and enjoyed talking to Chris while we waited.”
