“I ordered a catering order from them Sunday, everything was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved the food and there was so much!! The penne alla vodka sauce was delicious and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Chicken parm was delicious the cutlets were nice and thick, pizza was amazing as usual!! Highly recommend!! I will definitely be using them again for any catering event!”

“I recently visited Roslyn Kosher Food and had the best experience. The pullets that I bought were the best and most of all, everyone is so very accommodating. I asked Emily for a special request, and she graciously said it would not be a problem. The chickens were so clean and so fresh!. I also picked up some fresh chick pea salad. I've had this in other places, but this was the best! I will be a customer for life. My trip to the store is about 40 minutes one way but well worth it. Thank you Roslyn Kosher Food!”

“This past Fri., I went to get some staples for a Memorial Day bbq. Lots of choices of various cuts of meats as well as different kabobs. All of the food looked fresh, and delicious. The store was clean and empty at 11:30am so you were able to get a full view of all of their offerings. Grilled our items and they all were delicious. They were tender and seasoned perfectly. However, the guy that helped us looked beyond miserable. We had a small quick order so maybe a smile, thank you or an appreciation for our business would have been nice. 5 stars for the food, and a generous 3 for the customer service.”
“Awesome food precooked from Kosher Meats yesterday. My daughter and I stumbled in while shopping in the center by accident. It was fate. There were meal deals in the window. 2 BBQ chickens, sides, soup pudding at a reasonable price and so delicious! Even my Jewish Mother-in-law loved it! Rugelach is my favorite!”

“Stopped by Town Meat Market and Butcher in Garden City NY off 7th Street tonight, a little after 5 pm as they close by 6 to see what they had for supper. I bought 2 cooked lemon chicken breasts with a nice sauce soft and tasted delicious. I asked what the TRE-SPADE (see pix) contraption was, and one of the two men workers told me it was to make sausage.There are a nice selection of meats both behind the counter and in the fridge/freezer on the opposite side not limited to and including Grass fed chuck chop meat at 18.99 a lb. Filet Mignon and other items as antipasto bites of olives in a pack of 3, spices, cookies, boxes of manicotti, jumbo shell, vegetables, and in the glass case cooked Brussels sprouts, roasted red potatoes, bread loafs, and even gotcha items of bags of Tate's cookies on top.On the walls behind were chalkboard signs of meats and prices along with business cards and a sign listing Dinners Family Style and a QR sign to Join their Text Club for future discounts. All were spotlessly clean, neatly, and beautifully presented. It is not the least expensive place to shop but it is well stocked with a full variety of items that I plan to shop at again.”
“We visited Basil & Prime in Albertson for New Years Day dinner. The place is absolutely beautiful, Fresh Mozzarella, Fresh Italian meats, full deli display with the best meats in the town. Andrew is the most knowledgeable person and also the owner. He suggested a 4 bone Rib Roast pre seasoned which was 12 pounds. He explained the whole cooking instructions which I followed closely. And I must say My Guests were totally impressed. It was so tender and juicy. Totally our new place to go.. Basil & Prime ***** Five Stars. Perfect Roast”

The food is delicious, not spicy hot. I had ginger chicken & okra.The butcher cut the meat as I asked. This will be my go to butcher & takeout once I'm at the butcher. Give it a try.”

“Live poultry dressed to your preference, with a fairly wide choice of pulley variety, right here on the island! Was not crowded when I went on a Saturday afternoon, was in and out in 15 minutes. Came here to buy chicken, left with duck and chicken eggs around with dressed poultry.We have been coming to Safety Swim around the block for many years without being aware of this hidden gem.They do mind taking photographs / videos, but are otherwise polite, professional, efficient.”

“I came here for fresh meats based off a recommendation from a friend and now I can't live without this place! I ordered a pork shoulder (pernil) and asked them to season it. They season it soooo well that my Latino friends think I made it. The fresh scent of seasonings permeated through my car on the ride home, and that's when I knew I would be a returning customer! Thus, all you have to do it pop it in the oven! Ive also had their marinated chicken (raw) and I just cooked it in the air fryer. If you are looking for a quality butcher and are "street savy" enough to go to Hempstead, this is the place. They also sell oxtails, ribs, pig feet (if that's what you are into) and fresh thick bacon.”
