“Our son began at Primrose just over a year ago in the infant classroom. We have been nothing short of impressed from Day 1. Every morning when you arrive the entire team is welcoming and eager to greet on a first name basis for the whole family. The teachers are incredibly caring and attentive. They listen to developmental goals and work with students to help achieve those goals.Our child has grown with Primrose from infant to toddler and is about to make his way into early preschool. We have been very happy how the daily classroom structures and curriculum have grown with him to continually promote development.Primrose is also great at keeping parents involved and in the know. School announcements are made promptly and clearly communicated. Parents are invited into classrooms to celebrate events throughout the year and are often invited to spend time reading to the classrooms on Friday mornings. In addition, parents are given frequent daily updates through the school app so you can see exactly what your little one is up to and learning about throughout the day. This makes it easy to continue the lessons after school at home.We look forward to continuing to see our son develop at Primrose.”

The teachers and staff are very responsive - they return messages immediately. Additionally, the children don't just have fun at school, they're actually getting enrichment. “The best decision I made for my son was coming to TLE for 3k and 4k. Jessica, Rene and Sam are an admin team like no other. They run a tight ship, keep the lines of communication open and always make the safety of our children their priority. The teachers are amazing and show such care, compassion and love for every child. My son has learned so much and looks forward to going every day. I cannot put into words how much I trust and love this school. The facility is clean and safe. My only complaint is that TLE doesn’t go up to 5th grade! “My daughter was at Everbrook from 4 months old until 14 months, we were sad to leave but moved out of the area. As a first time parent, I was always sad and nervous to leave her in someone else’s care, but upon reflection - I am so glad that I sent her to Everbrook. She loved it so much and the staff took excellent care of her. One of the things I loved the most was how tender and caring the teachers were with my girl. Ms. Daniela in infant one is truly the hardest working and loving teacher. She took excellent care of my baby and helped her reach so many milestones, she is one in a million. Ms. Bridget, Sharaya, Narae, and Sara were also excellent. Thank you to the administration- Ms. Lynn and Ms. Stephanie for running such a wonderful place for children to thrive. Super supportive and informative, both of our kids had a blast and kept talking about the new friends they met in "the big city". The guides did their best to make our kids feel like home! In one instance, my son asked to know what time we're going to pick him up and the guide called us so she could give him the most accurate response, this warmed my heart.”

“My 7 month old daughter currently attends AMC- Amsterdam ave. I truly cannot be more grateful for the excellent care and attention she receives. She started at 6 months and she is thriving. She is so happy when I drop her off. Her teachers Ms. Malikah and Ms. Maria are outstanding. The program director, Carly Resnick, is second to none. “My two boys are going to Ira’s daycare for almost 3 years now . My little one started at the age of 4. My older one goes to afterschool since then . The stuff at the daycare is amazing , and Miss Linda makes sure that kids are safe and happy . My kids love the food at the location . My younger son will be attending the place for as long as we need their services . It is the only place I trust to leave my children at , and have a peace of mind they are well taken care of .”

The original freely handled and simplified Byzantine Revival design by Bertram Goodhue was called "a jewel in a monumental setting" by Christine Smith in 1988. Completed in 1930, the church contains stained-glass windows and mosaics by Hildreth Meiere, and a marble baptismal font by the Danish follower of Canova, Bertel Thorvaldsen. St. Bartholomew's was completed at a cost of $5.4 million.The church is known for a wide range of programs. It draws parishioners from all areas of New York City and surroundings. It is the final resting place for actresses Lillian Gish (1893–1993), Dorothy Gish (1898–1968), and their mother Mary Gish (1876–1948).Saint Bartholomew's Church and Community House was designated a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1967, a move opposed at the time by the rector and vestry. Beginning in 1981, St. Bartholomew's found itself the subject of a much-publicized case concerning air rights in the highly-competitive New York real estate market clashing with historical preservation. Some of the members of the parish wanted to replace the community house and open terrace with a high-rise commercial structure that would re-capitalize the parish's depleted funds. Following a series of public hearings, the Landmarks Preservation Commission turned down the plans for a high-rise office building. “Kiddie academy is truly professional for the youth education. My child comes home with a big smiley face everyday. The teachers are very caring, loving and patient with the children. The daily circle time is my child’s favorite, which helped to develop her reading habit. Definitely one of the top early educational place to go!”

“My son has been attending Bright Horizons at East 46th street since March of 2023. We were referred to BH by a friend after my son had extreme difficulty settling into a 2’s program at another school. The friendly and welcoming staff at Bright Horizons were confident they could transition our son into their program and have gone above and beyond in doing so. From our first day there, the center director and assistant director have been nothing but positive and communicative regarding our son and his progress. Over the past 4 months we have watched him grow in ways we never thought possible, even dropping him off without tears as he runs toward whatever wonderful activity his teachers have set up for the day. From water play, to painting and dancing, reading, walks, and singing, our son is constantly stimulated and we love receiving updates via their app throughout the day. The teachers at BH are so loving, patient and hands on and meet each child where they are developmentally and emotionally. We are so thankful to everyone at BH for being a part of our sons life and educational journey.”
