Lowe's for all of your home improvement needs. Stop by the local Middletown, NY Lowe’s to pick up gardening supplies, check out new appliances and paint colors or try out new patio furniture. The store offers a decent selection with friendly people. Employees frequently go above and beyond to help, assisting customers throughout the store, finding carts, helping load items, and offering helpful suggestions to solve problems. Many staff are super nice, pretty helpful, and provide great service, creating pleasant experiences. However, experiences can vary. Some products, like garden plants, may be in rough shape. The hardware is often never in the right bins. A significant issue involved a major appliance purchase where delivery and installation promises were not met, resulting in a lost order after a long delay and many unresponsive calls. This was described as completely unresponsive and uncaring. While it is usually a good experience, such problems have led some customers to be done with Lowe's.
This is a pretty bad Lowe’s location. Poor management. Returned items are often just taped up and put back on the shelf, it can be hard to find something on the shelf. That’s not already cut open. Price labels are almost most often wrong when you get up to the cash register.
