“TY so much for inspecting my truck and being honest about the leaf spring shackles and hangars. We got them replaced ASAP a couple years ago! Had they not caught that and just passed my truck through inspection like some garages it would have meant some serious damage to my truck. This last inspection they caught the inner brake pads riding on the rotors. It was passable but still the same my dad and I are going to do a whole brake job. My dad was a crew chief in the Air Force so as long as he's alive I don't think anyone else would be allowed to work on my truck except him. That said I did grind my dad about not doing a proper inspection a couple years ago... Lol ?”

“I don't like this move to machines for check out one bit, but who cares what I think. They actually have some local snacks and different things I don't see elsewhere, like a peanut butter rice crispy treat I haven't see elsewhere and it's real good, you can tell it's homeade in batches and not some mass produces little Debbie cake or something.”

“Love this place. Part of Price chopper brand. They offer better prices when showing a membership card.Prices are a little more expensive than I remember the last visit in 2019. So great to see items that are discontinued in Canada. The bakery section is quite impressive. Will go again!”

“Stopped here on the first with my mom to get gas. The gas prices are cheaper than anywhere else, and I am grateful for that. It's worth the extra couple miles out of the way to go and fill up here. The store is always clean and kept tidy. The staff is always very polite and respectful. Def will be going back to this store more often. It's worth it just to save money on gas. The rest is just an added bonus, and it always ends up being a very friendly stop.”

“We always stop here for gas and a drink on our way home from Plattsburgh. They have a huge section of cold drinks. My favorite deal is the box of 24 Green Mountain K-cups for $14.99!!”

“If in need of gas and/or a pit stop when in the area or traveling through, feel free to stop at this quaint mom and pop gas station. It was quick and reasonably priced. Bathroom was super clean and also, for a gas station, was nice. Not a huge selection inside the convenience store but just enough.”

“I really like the location! I like how it's inside of a shell gas station and there's also a Dunkin Donuts in the same building which is such a plus! People can gas up and also use their OTC food credits there !! That's very rare so take advantage soon. I know you'll enjoy your experience. ?”

“Wow. For a gas station, There is quite an ice cream store here. We're in Plattsburgh for the evening and my wife suggested we go to Stewarts for some dessert. Just a few minutes from the hotel, and we were off. This is quite the market here, with their own "beer cave." Took a look at their very extensive ice cream menu and went with the easy choice. A double scoop of maple walnut. My wife had the brownie-cookie sundae. Each was delicious. This easily could be the best maple walnut ice cream ever. Plenty of maple taste and lots of walnuts. This was one good ice cream cone. My wife really enjoyed her sundae too. They have an extremely friendly-cordial team here which always helps the experience. Prices were very reasonable too. I am looking forward to another visit as soon as I find another Stewarts. Oh yeah, I also bought some gas here.KUDOs to the team at Stewart's Shops”

“Pretty decent overall. Easy parking. Store itself offers some unique food on the go type of items. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful. Gas prices are always about the lowest you will find for a Mobil station.”

“Buck's is the best! We stopped in on our way to home from Montreal. They had clean bathrooms and a great selection of snacks with unique and hard-to-find flavors. The staff was incredibly friendly and they went above and beyond. When I left my sunglasses behind, they were kind enough to mail them to my home. This is a true mom-and-pop spot that you don't see much of anymore. Will definitely be saving this place for future road trips.”

“Best breakfast sandwiches hands down in Plattsburgh. You would have never thought a bacon, egg and cheese croissant would be so good from a small gas station....BUT IT IS”

“Mr. Kaigle is an honest, straight shooter with probably more than 40 + years automotive experience, and a family tradition before him. Fair pricing, solid, dependable work. I have had several repairs done there. He once gave me the bad news that a used car I had wasn't worth repairing. Most shops would just do flimsey work to get it on the road for a week, and take the money. Highly recommended.”

“I wanted to update my review from my previous one. I like this place a lot. I drink more milk than Young Link from Ocarina of Time and this is definitely the best place to go to get it. They have a diverse staff here and they work well together. The managers focus a lot on staff development which is good to see. The store is kept clean and the employees seem diligent on making sure things are stocked.”

“Learned how to pay inside, while having cash. So pumping my gas, then going in, to see attendant at the register. Pay cash. Yes I would give attendant cash, then pump. Then go get my things, coffee and such. Thank you for the heads up.”

“Very nice grocery store, very varied choice, you can find everything you need and more, their individual donuts, their bacon cheese bread and their already prepared pasta dish are excellent”

“Most of the bad reviews here seem irrelevant or very outdated.I'm a new Sam's Club member and very pleased so far with my shopping experience. For a small town like Plattsburgh that does not have a Costco, well Sam's club is a great option to buy things in bulk or a cheaper price. In recent years I believe the store has undergone a rebranding, as I use to come shop using a visitor's day pass, but this is no longer available. I've noticed the renovated customer service counter as well as new features in the app like Scan & Go which is super convenient. Very few stores will offer this feature where you can just scan items as you shop, place them in your cart, then pay on your phone and just go. No need to wait in line for the cashier! This is a sign of the times!Being from Montreal, Canada, I love the selection of goods here and pricing that cannot be matched to what I find back home.Things to look out for, good priced clothing, frozen goods like appetizers and ready made meals, cheese, baked good - the brownies are divine!! - as well as children's toys. These are all great value. The in house Member's Mark brand is also a good choice for anything they make, it seems on par with Kirkland products at Costco.Sam's Club has overall more selection of items compares to Costco, but at this location, I noticed less ready made food items compared to Costco in Vermont. For example, if you want premade large salads, party platters, chicken pot pie, pasta dishes or other meals that are already cooked, Sam's offers a bit less in this department.Still worth checking out and even we don't come often, the membership is worth the thrill of just shopping and finding new items. Plus having lunch at the food court is such good value, the pizza and ice cream are amazing. Make sure you try the brownie sundae. It is loaded with brownies and huge cup for less than 2 bucks!Anyone considering getting a membership or renewing, well we were able to get a great deal on Groupon, they often have yearly memberships for as low as 15$ or 20$ so make sure you sign up online. As a Canadian, I didn't have any issues signing up online this way and then just asking for a real membership card in stores.”
