I have had several repairs done there. He once gave me the bad news that a used car I had wasn't worth repairing. Most shops would just do flimsey work to get it on the road for a week, and take the money. Highly recommended.”

“well, I've read the previous reviews however, our experience was complete different. I haven't lived in Plattsburgh for years but was helping an elderly friend who needed to get her vehicle to the dealership. Although the charge seemed high while comparing we found Dupery's to be in line with the others. Cameron was dispatched to pick up the car and as I requested called to let me know he was on the way so I could give my friend a heads up. Being elderly she is cautious about who she allows in her place which is understandable these days. anyway I was on the phone with her when he arrive. she said he was very polite and even assisted her in getting down the steps and held his arm out to make sure she didn't fall. he got the car started and loaded. Before he left he made sure she was good. He called me once the car was at the dealership. it is very nice to find people who genuinely care about the customer. Thanks again Cameron for making her feel comfortable about your visit!”

“Most of the bad reviews here seem irrelevant or very outdated.I'm a new Sam's Club member and very pleased so far with my shopping experience. For a small town like Plattsburgh that does not have a Costco, well Sam's club is a great option to buy things in bulk or a cheaper price.In recent years I believe the store has undergone a rebranding, as I use to come shop using a visitor's day pass, but this is no longer available. I've noticed the renovated customer service counter as well as new features in the app like Scan & Go which is super convenient. Very few stores will offer this feature where you can just scan items as you shop, place them in your cart, then pay on your phone and just go. No need to wait in line for the cashier! This is a sign of the times!Being from Montreal, Canada, I love the selection of goods here and pricing that cannot be matched to what I find back home.Things to look out for, good priced clothing, frozen goods like appetizers and ready made meals, cheese, baked good - the brownies are divine!! - as well as children's toys. These are all great value.The in house Member's Mark brand is also a good choice for anything they make, it seems on par with Kirkland products at Costco.Sam's Club has overall more selection of items compares to Costco, but at this location, I noticed less ready made food items compared to Costco in Vermont. For example, if you want premade large salads, party platters, chicken pot pie, pasta dishes or other meals that are already cooked, Sam's offers a bit less in this department.Still worth checking out and even we don't come often, the membership is worth the thrill of just shopping and finding new items. Plus having lunch at the food court is such good value, the pizza and ice cream are amazing. Make sure you try the brownie sundae. It is loaded with brownies and huge cup for less than 2 bucks!Anyone considering getting a membership or renewing, well we were able to get a great deal on Groupon, they often have yearly memberships for as low as 15$ or 20$ so make sure you sign up online. As a Canadian, I didn't have any issues signing up online this way and then just asking for a real membership card in stores.”

“Wow. For a gas station, There is quite an ice cream store here. We're in Plattsburgh for the evening and my wife suggested we go to Stewarts for some dessert. Just a few minutes from the hotel, and we were off. This is quite the market here, with their own "beer cave." Took a look at their very extensive ice cream menu and went with the easy choice. A double scoop of maple walnut. My wife had the brownie-cookie sundae. Each was delicious. This easily could be the best maple walnut ice cream ever. Plenty of maple taste and lots of walnuts. This was one good ice cream cone. My wife really enjoyed her sundae too. They have an extremely friendly-cordial team here which always helps the experience. Prices were very reasonable too. I am looking forward to another visit as soon as I find another Stewarts. Oh yeah, I also bought some gas here.KUDOs to the team at Stewart's Shops”

“This rating is for their donuts only. That sounds ridiculous but for real- their donuts rival that of dedicated donut bakeries. We're only in town every couple months but we always stop by for their donuts. The chocolate iced with buttercream dollops in the holes are excellent. The lemon filled is delicious. All of them- yummy. Their dough is actually flavorful and tender. Highly recommend.”

“not sure what happened to dannemora store. stopped this morning 4/29 and the bathrooms were disgusting. tried to get gas and had issue with pump. asked manager working for assistance and she told she was going to break. and don't get me started on the coffee counter.
