“This location was very organized on a Monday especially since they were coming off of a weekend! I had a very full cart and checked out with Savannah Allen. She was so pleasant and helpful! She thanked me for helping with the hangers and folding and she made the final end of my shopping trip very enjoyable! Great store!”

“I had the incredible opportunity to serve as one of the lead teachers at Give Chances Organization, and it has proven to be an immensely valuable experience witnessing each student receiving support in their education and volunteers gaining various leadership and teaching experiences. Collaborating with both students and volunteers has enabled me to cultivate various transferable skills, including effective communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving. I am excited to witness further academic and personal growth in more students.”

“Our experience with Peace4Paws was amazing. We had applied to adopt a pup last year that had been spoken for, but we were able to join their waitlist and got frequent updates about incoming rescues. We were lucky enough to find our perfect dog this January. The communication was always fast, and I felt comfortable in the organization as a whole. We love our forever dog, buttons, so so much and are so thankful for their help in bringing her into our lives.”

“The Ridgewood Women's club is an absolutely beautiful venue that I highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I threw a baby shower the size of a wedding there (140-150 people), and the event space was perfect for it. The women who run the club are professional, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and we can't thank them enough. Everyone should look into this place for a large event. You won't be disappointed.”

“The staff is very friendly and eager to help. You can drop off donations at any time. There is a drop off point in the lower parking garage. It's the first right as you pull in the driveway. Go to the main entrance at any time of day or night to get a receipt for your tax purposes. The main entrance is located on the second entrance on the right up the main driveway. The Salvation Army also offers adult rehabilitation.”

“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night. If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”

“I was walking down the steep sidewalk outside. I lost my footing and tumbled scraping my hand on the concrete and glass. I walked in with my hand all bloody. They were in the middle of Sunday services. But a nice lady in the back pointed me to the men's room where I was able to wash up and get back on my way. I put $2 in the bucket to show my appreciation. Thanks Nepperhan!”

“I'm new to Transcendental Meditation and Christine at the Ramsey center taught me this technique.Having experience with meditation with a few different techniques, i finally found TM and have had a great experience. It truly is unbelievably simple to meditate with TM and a few of things stand out:1. With TM, the ratio of "Time spent in a meditative state" to the "total time required to meditate" is very high, leading to real benefits.2. Learning TM was very quick, and I was meditating on my very first session.3. You are acquainted with not just your teacher, but also other like minded people.4. This technique is not religiously inclined, so no changes or dietary restrictions are applied.I look forward to my 2 sessions a day wherever I am, and TM has greatly helped me calm my nerves so i can focus on what I want to do, when I want to do it.”

“PROS: The people in here are nice and it's very clean and organized. they have many sections to choose from that range for people of all ages. CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. Their prices are low for some items and high for others, just depending on what you're looking for as well”

“This agency is absolutely phenomenal! The service it provides to the community is invaluable. The staff is discreet, compassionate and extremely helpful. Everyone goes above and beyond to serve each and every member of the community without judgement or reservation. The agency is also LGBTQ friendly. In addition to the numerous services it provides, advocacy and education are also provided to the community at large. Every learning and spreading awareness to make the community safer and promote a change in consciousness that will quell intimate partner violence and sexual assault.”
