Fine Fare Supermarkets is located in a train station, making it a convenient stop for commuters. The store is well structured and large, with everything easy to find. It is noted for having the best variety and great selection of items not normally available in other supermarkets, including food from other cultures, and is well stocked. However, reviews note significant issues. Prices are frequently described as a little crazy, on average about 10% higher than other markets, and sometimes incredibly ridiculous, with some items like Lactaid milk priced 30% higher. Some feel this is price gouging. The benefit of better prices than a small corner store is not always seen. Other cons include long lines, as the self-service registers have been turned off. While employees are described as super friendly and helpful, there is no service at the back of the store. The produce section is large but requires looking to find what is actually good, as a lot of the produce is not fresh. Additionally, many items are over packaged. The store offers grocery delivery at no extra fee.
Five stars for the location! It's in a train station, so the location is convenient for commuters to pick up a few items on their way back home or to work if they so choose. Love the selection of items not normally available in other supermarkets, specific to the neighborhood. I always welcome food from other cultures.... read full comment

Great environment but it does not justify the prices. I paid double for the same things I normally get in food bazar.
