Gramercy Typewriter Company is one of the coolest gems of a store in NYC, a perfect little piece of NYC history and a unique “only in NYC” special place that everyone should visit. This solid, honest, hard working local business specializes in servicing and refurbishing older typewriters. They do an incredible job and the technicians are perfectionists. Service is above and beyond and phenomenal. They are generous with communication and execution, providing thorough instructions and genuinely caring about the care of the machine and the customer's understanding. Customers appreciate their honesty, as they often provide several options with different costs, doing everything in their control to keep servicing costs down. They also have gorgeous machines for sale. It is simply the best place for servicing and highly recommended.
