“I can't comment about the rooms as we didn't stay there but the airport shuttle ran by this motel is phenomenal. It snowed while we were away in Florida and I didn't have a snow brush. He cleaned off our car and I'm very appreciative. He was also very speedy with picking us up from the airport only 5 minutes after we called to say that we arrived! Thank you so much!!”

“Absolutely fantastic little studios here for very cheap. Got two more days for over 150 bucks cheaper than a comparable hotel (other hotel much worse quality, wish we had checked for this one first!) Sheets and bedding soft and clean, room spacious, bathroom clean and comfortable. There is even a little kitchenette. Such a good affordable studio for cheaper than a hotel.Word of warning though! If you like to walk places too bad. No sidewalks anywhere nearby. Had a bad experience with that, so knocked a few stars from location. The view from my room was also of I think a storage facility? So not stimulating but at this price it's stimulating to my budget so it gets a pass with flying colors.”

“Fantastic charming hotel located in a very popular shopping area. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and decorated in a very modern theme, country chic. We attended a banquet next door and the convenience of staying at the Craftsman was the reason we stayed. We were thoroughly impressed with this hotel, we would return again. Hats off to the housekeeping team, as this was the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in, it was spotless everywhere. Only thing we missed was the fantastic water pressure we have in our house, but don't let that deter you from staying at this great hotel. Modern, clean, and comfortable beds what more can you ask for at a hotel. Great job Craftsman!Rooms: Modern country chicNearby activities: Lots of shopping across the street”

“Simple but VERY clean hotel. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. This place is about convenience. Right across from a gas station. Dunkin Donuts and McDs right next door if you need something quick. Many other food options and amenities within minutes of the hotel. Decent fit was room for the convenience. A couple of treadmills, an elliptical, a peloton bike, weights and some other equipment. Nice and safe area. All doors(except main) only open with key card. Breakfast is included and has many options. Electric vehicle charging stations available.”

“We love this hotel. Simple place to stay nothing over the top fancy but they have a kitchenette and the people are so lovely. They leave water and chips in the room and have breakfast in the morning (extra)”

“While I haven't stayed in the hotel, I can attest to the fact that the food here is DYNAMITE! I haven't had a single thing that wasn't fresh and flavored to perfection. The menu changes often (maybe weekly?) which keeps everything nice and fresh. The pizza is really the best you can get in the area. The dough is great, sauce is super tasty and they use really good quality cheese. I had a charcuterie plate once- literally to die for! I think they special order ingredients, because they are far from the standard, restaurant wholesale stuff every other place sells. I'm also obsessed with their soups, chili and beans and greens. (Oh man... my mouth is watering just thinking about this stuff). The desert menu is constantly changing, but there is always at least 4 tasty treats to choose from. I believe they are mostly from Biscottis or made in house.Portions and prices are very reasonable. You won't leave hungry- I've always had enough food leftover to bring home for lunch the next day, and I leave stuffed. The bar area is comfortable with some hi top tables and a few regular tables too. The bartender is awesome, good at what she does and very friendly. Bar is stocked with a great selection of beers, seltzers, and other bottled/caned drinks. The spirit selection is wide, with the well known stuff as well as some different and unique liquors. All drinks are very reasonably priced. The company is fun and always very friendly. You are missing out if you don't eat here! I promise you will love it.”

“Stayed here for work this week, what a comfy bed! I’ve honestly never slept so good. I was only there for a night but the room served its purpose and the staff was very friendly. Also you can’t forget your cookie, ever!”

“Very nice staff! I work next door...due to a ride situation I had to be dropped off at 4 in the morning (my job opens its doors at 7). It was too cold to wait outside for hours. The staff member let me stay in the dining area and even offered me the breakfast they served.I'm very thankful ?”

“The rooms were very comfortable, nice and clean. The service was very good as well. The hotel itself is conveniently located next to many dining and shopping areas.”

“About 15min from airport & 10min from downtown Syracuse. Part of Marriott, this hotel is 'modern' and has indoor pool, bar, small kitchen & a pool table. Rooms are small & basic, but at least have modern fixtures. Convenient location for what it is. Walking distance to the shore and Embassy Suites Destiny.”

“It's location wasn't the best - in the middle of the industrial area and it was kind of scary to drive there at night time, but overall it was not bad. The staff was friendly and explained everything (WiFi, breakfast, even the trick of using the shower faucet) at check in. The room was clean and neat, but this hotel definitely needed some upgrades. The overall appearance of the bathroom was a bit old. It has everything needed to stay for a night - not fancy, but practical. Breakfast is buffet style and it has a few hot items, very limited choices though.”

“Traveling across country and came into town very late. Susie was such great help and so pleasant to speak with. Wonderful girl who provided great service!!! I would be back for her alone, give that girl a raise!!!Rooms: Clean room!”

“Not the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was clean & the staff was good. We had an issue with the TV remote that was never fixed despite the hotel not being full. The 2 days went from $140.00 to over $500.00!!!! It's not a $250/night hotel. Would not recommend it to anyone.”

“Overall it was a ok stay. The bed was hard and the wooden chair should have been thrown out years ago. Staff was very friendly. Walls are thin..Rooms: The heart tub was nice”

“I only drop off people there for the railroad, but went in this time just to use the restroom. One lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and just happy all the way around. Was a real pleasant and memorable experience considering some of the poor service out there today. This lady was a real joy. I should have gotten her name.”

“Room was great, amenities and breakfast were great, front desk attendant desire was excellent. Is this hotel haunted? My friend saw a white orb in the bathroom mirror, then we heard a woman humming in our room. Slept with the lights on. But overall nice ”

“I don’t know if DeWitt travel plaza is one of the rest stops slated for renovation but it sure seems like it. The only business open inside is a small convenience shop with necessities and thankfully there are bathrooms which are clean enough. there is a sign pointing toward a ‘pet area’ , seemingly a swamp so we did not go there.”

“Staff was kind. Room service was very attentive. However, the remote control for the television did not work, as well as the shower wasn't functioning properly. Room was cleaned daily.”

“Stayed here because we were going to a concert at the Lakeview Ampitheather. You can walk (about 30 mins) or drive (about 10-15 mins with very slow moving traffic) to the venue. Was easy getting back after the concert. Staff was pleasant. We had an issue with the TV remote but it was resolved within the hour. Hotel was clean. Water pressure was great. Free hot breakfast in the morning (scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes) was delicious. The lady tending to the breakfast was great. She was very attentive. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're going to a concert or the fair.”

“Very impressed with my stay here. I had to be in town for work and decided to stay for a couple days due to a lake effect storm and tried to find the most reasonable price and the best western did not disappoint. I don’t understand the negative reviews because this place provides well beyond what you pay for. I will most certainly be returning in the future.”

“Very run down. Dirty carpets. One rude staff member. one broken ice maker for all 4 floors. Room door lock was falling off door and original door that showed it's age and rugged history. Hasn't seen a paint brush in a long time.Food & drinks: Breakfast was as basic as they could get away with and eggs were reheated from day before.”

“Clean rooms with fresh paint and new sheets and blankets. Desk service was great as well, friendly, efficient, and professional. Single entrance into the front lobby only, making the place feel very safe and secure. Good place for a quick overnight stay.”

“The room was immaculate. Everything was well stocked. The beds were comfortable, oh so comfortable. The pillows weren't lumpy, they had substance to them. The vending machine had a good variety as did the soda and water Gatorade machine too. The whole hotel was immaculate. Everywhere you looked all of it was beautiful. The breakfast was the usual you get. Oranges, bananas, cereals, bad coffee and waffles. It's not breakfast if there's no Waffle's. Checking in was a breeze. Checking was just as simple. 15 minutes before 11:00 am checkout time, someone knocks on your door and in a sweet voice says, 15 minutes till check-out. 15 minutes till check-out. It was truly pleasant. Definitely recommend this Ramada. If I come back this way, I will certainly stay here.”
