“My best friend, Linda. Goes shopping here all the time and she loves the place. I even go shopping there too. People are very respectful. They tell you where the stuff are when you're lost. They show you where the stuff is. I listen to Linda because she directs me the right way. Where to go drop in for good stuff? And presents and all the above. She just has nothing but great things about this place. That's why she mostly told me about this place. I can see myself working here. And helping Linda out.”
“Best market in the LGBT villages. Sure, prices are high so it makes sense, if you can, to bring non- perishable provisions. But if you don’t want to subsist on Kraft Mac & Cheese and Dinty Moore canned beef stew, then Pines Pantry is a treat. Though not as comprehensive as a mainline supermarket quality is usually very good and they feature a bakery with tasty croissants. It was worth walking with the gorilla wagon (inflatable moon buggy wheels recommended for the few open sand stretches) from our cabin near Sailors Haven and through Cherry Grove and no-man’s land to the Pines. Prices at the market in Cherry Grove are a bit lower but they don’t usually have the selection that Pines Pantry has.”
“All the food is super fresh and they have the best mozz in town, hands down. People are super friendly and the store is clean and extremely well kept. My only gripe is the wait-I often drop in for one or two small items, and get stuck there for 15-20 minutes-I've actually walked out a couple times, because I simply couldn't stay any longer. It's still my go-to spot!”

“I love Giuntas cold cuts and baked bread... I like their produce and sometimes the clearance section stuff. Unfortunately, some items are more expensive than the "Big" supermarkets... but depending on what you go there for, you can't find better anywhere else.”

“It clean, well organized store that is my go-to place. They have a large bakery section, as well as takeaway, sushi and various other pre-prepared foods. They carry a lot of brands that can be difficult to find in other stores. Their produce section is well stocked and always fresh.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff, solid selection of food drink and toiletries and the grill has a small but solid menu of deli foods like breakfast sandwiches,quesadillas and subs. Nice seating outside, and the town gazebo is nearby along with a covered awning on the side if it rains.”

“It's an average deli with average services. They don't take care customers like other delis in the area. Also, they don't have a lot of chips nor drinks in the store. Very few items. But this is probably the best place to buy lottery tickets in the area, you'll never win though.”

“I can’t understand why anyone would say this store is overpriced, maybe they want it free everything in this shop is cheaper than all supermarket nearby and far. We use to drive to Queens to buy our Jamaican stuff and it is more expensive there , so we started shopping at this store instead.It’s not a big place but you can get a lot of Caribbean items there . The owner is a very nice person and his family..”

“This is a great place to find authentic Latin food. They are slowly fixing up the place but not ideally nice yet. The food makes it worth it though. The one big con is all the drunk guys around the facility.”
“I shop at this Stop and Shop because I can walk to it. If the weather is bad I shop elsewhere. Navigating the parking lot is tough enough, but when it's busy you also have to deal with the people who park right in front of the shops. Otherwise the store is bright and clean, and they're not giving anything away, but with certain
items they've got a great sale price.
12/23/25 It has been a while since I've had reason to shop in this Stop & Shop, but a friend had texted me and mentioned that they had a nice selection of Phaleonopsis Orchids. Thinking they would make nice Thanksgiving day gifts I drove over to hopefully pick out a few. While examine the plants l noticed a robotic camera viewing me from about 5' away, but when l took out my phone it approached me, until it was in my face, close enough that l thought l might get my toes run over. I took a video of this, along with a photo. So far only the photo has been posted as of yet.
This robot has a pair of eyes and a vinyl smile, but I really wasn't feeling the love.
I don't know how long this thing has been operating, but I have to wonder how others feel about this thing getting up close and personal with them.”

“I had a great time at Lidl. Me and my husband got so many deals. I never knew that Lidl has its own brand on so many things in the store. This is our first time going there and it didn’t disappoint. The only downside is that their cleaning products are kind of sparse. Otherwise highly recommended.”
