“I had a wonderful experience with Avant Garde-Moving. From the first point of contact, the representative (Dali) was very helpful in answering any questions I had and accommodating requests I made for the move.
On the day of the move, the movers arrived exactly on time and were extremely professional and efficient. The movers were very quick in moving all of my boxes and furniture, but did not sacrifice care while doing so, ensuring that everything was properly wrapped and secured. At the new place, the movers took care to place all of the furniture in the correct location as I requested. All in all, the entire move took 2.5 hours, from the moment the movers arrived at my first apartment to when they unloaded the last of my things at my new place.
I was initially anxious about selecting a moving company in NYC, as I had heard many horror stories about shady movers. My experience with Avant-Garde moving set a new bar for me and I will be reaching out to them in the future for any moves I may have.”

“Let me start by saying—this has to be the best Extra Space Storage in NYC, maybe even the best storage facility in the city, period. The facility is spotless. I didn’t see a single rat dropping, no roach, nothing—and for me, that’s incredibly important. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, and it shows. The entire place is extremely well maintained, even the bathroom, which is rare when it comes to storage facilities. When I arrived to store my belongings, I realized I had overlooked an important detail: my items needed to be kept in a climate-controlled environment, and unfortunately, this location doesn’t offer that. I had a bit of a meltdown—but Justin, the store manager, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He listened to my concerns (and frustration with myself), reassured me that we’d find a solution—and we did. Moving is stressful enough, so I deeply appreciated the time and attention both Justin and Asia gave me. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and supported during the process.I've stored at several places before, and this one stands out because the staff genuinely care about what they do. The level of customer service here is exceptional. I sincerely hope upper management and corporate take notice—Justin and Asia deserve recognition for the superb job they’re doing. PS - See attached pics of the unit I chose. My unit was a 10 x 10…. Bigger than I needed”
