“This is a great little store with friendly and helpful staff. I got coffee and some sweets. The coffee was really good, and the sweets were fresh and tasty. It’s a nice, well-kept shop.
I needed to rent a U-Haul, and the process was quick and easy. The truck was clean and ready to go with all the equipment I needed. Deval was a big help. He loaded the equipment into the truck and made both pickup and drop-off smooth and hassle-free.
Great service all around. I highly recommend this location for both U-Haul rentals and a quick stop at the store!”

“I feel so lucky to have Panchito's in my neighborhood. The food is incredible, and I try to check their social media for specials, like chicken soup in the colder months, or the cucumber jalapeno juice (iykyk). The deli bsandwiches are great too, as is the service.”

“Hannaford supermarket took a bit getting used to after all the years of the store being Thruway supermarket. Change can be hard on people. However Hannaford has a good reward program, good prices, great staff, and the store is kept organized and clean. Self check out is convenient but the cashiers are almost always kind and hard working and even willing to help you out to the car! Most my shopping is done at Hannaford whether in person or via instacart. Produce isle is very appealing!”

Don't skip the garden center - the plants as well as the gardening supplies are top notch. Lastly, the customer service is wonderful.”

“I stopped into the Milton Stewart’s at 8:30 on Sunday March1 and there were 2 employees, a new girl that was putting stock away and a young man with a moustache and long hair and I was getting a hot dog and some other snack items and another couple were getting ice cream and they were talking at length about their time in the service in Korea and I tried to get his attention by standing back at the other register so he could see me but he just continued the conversation about 8 to 10 minutes. He never said “ I will be with you in a minute “ or can I take you over here on this side, just ignored me so I put the hot dog and products back and walked out. I live in Milton and never had that problem before but it was nothing less than rude. I never receive that kind of negative service from Kelly who is always very responsive no matter what other work she is involved with. As a former manager myself I wouldn’t tolerate it from my employees and I won’t tolerate it here either.”
“Roast beef, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, Mayo, onions. Sandwich was awesome. Bread was fresh, even later in the afternoon. Service was friendly and fast. Price comparable for other deli's in the area. No complaints. Definitely recommend this deli. Will be back.”
“It's a Stewart's so in theory they should all be similar. Clean store and nice staff at the Newburgh Route 52 location. They meet all of my milk, egg, and ice cream needs along with other snack and essential items always available.”

“My favorite sandwich combo is pepperoni, muenster, lettuce, & tomato w/ a little bit of mayo. Also, for much of 2023 & '24 thus far, I've been helping Dimpi's move its old stock of Bud Light bottles & cans. This might be due to a politically motivated "boycott" of Bud products. Apparently, some fragile little men regard other people's gender identity as an affront to their existence. It's one of the latest "moral" panics!”

“Of all the wonderful things Beacon has to offer, I will miss Durkins the most when I move to Poughkeepsie. It's not the amazing bars, restaurants, matcha/coffee shops-- it's this magical one-stop-shop, opens early/closes late, friendly neighborhood convenience store. I've lived across the street for 3 yrs and have seen many different faces behind the counter-all of whom have been helpful and friendly. Great selection of beverages, snacks, household items, etc. They've saved me countless times late night when I needed a snack, ran out of paper towels, was sick and needed cold medicine, or my guest forgot their toothbrush.

I’ve visited a few times while staying in the area, and every single experience has been pleasant, consistent, and welcoming. Whether you’re coming in to pick up something quick or doing a full grocery run, the environment feels inviting and comfortable.
The first thing I noticed was how clean and organized everything is. The counters, shelves, and display cases are always spotless, and the meat section is very well-maintained. You can immediately see that the products are fresh and handled properly. The cuts of meat always look high-quality — nicely trimmed, neatly wrapped, and clearly labeled. It’s obvious that the staff takes great pride in offering customers food that’s not only affordable but also fresh and safe.
The prices here are also very reasonable, especially compared to some larger stores. You can get excellent quality without breaking your budget. It’s refreshing to see a business that still values fairness and community instead of just focusing on profit. For families and visitors alike, that makes a big difference.

On top of the great service and quality, there’s a welcoming, family-oriented feeling that makes La Poblanita stand out. Overall, I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this store. It’s clean, affordable, and friendly — everything you could want in a neighborhood market. The meat is always fresh, the service is respectful, and the atmosphere makes you want to come back again. I’ll definitely keep returning whenever I’m in the area and will recommend La Poblanita Meat Market to anyone looking for great quality, fair prices, and excellent customer care.
