“I had to come do a review because folks tend to review only with bad experiences and not good ones. I come to this post office because it's close to us, closes at 3 on Saturdays, and the folks behind the desk are so helpful and nice. Never have had an issue and I've had service by different personnel. I like this over any other post office in Rockland... especially palisades mall where one person in particular is rude and miserable.”
“Have you ever said, "I am so grateful for this post office?" No? Me neither until now. My manager threw a rush promo mailer at us which entailed a boat load of bulky first class envelopes; each requiring a unique postage based on zip code.I was mortified to walk into a busy post office for help, but Jennifer and Moki at Harriman PO are the kindest most helpful humans ever.Between the two of them they smiled, sorted, posted and completed my project. It took over an hour of them working non-stop and they were gracious the entire time. They took turns so as not to let a line form at all so there was never any back log of people in the lobby.If you have to choose a post office to use in the area, definitely go here!”

“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! “To be honest, I’ve only ever found helpful folks behind the desk at the Nyack post office.An example. Today I went to ship 4 separate insulated packages of Swiss chocolate and the clerk (Jessica) was super helpful and charismatic. She recommended the flat rate shipping sleeve to reduce the price and number of days it would take to ship the perishable items. Really saved my wallet and my worry about my gifts melting in the summer heat. ❤️”
“It’s a small post office, might seem a bit outdated as well. But i actually like that about it, the small town vibes. I have been here several times since i moved. The lines vary depending on the time of day. They are open till 7pm on weekdays so that’s helpful. Every time i have been there the clerks have been super helpful. I needed a lot of help deciding what package to send and save money as well when mailing a package to Europe and robert(clerk) was really nice and helped me with weighing the stuff and even told me about the best options. I needed that just so i can decide the best route to go. The clerks are always nice about making sure the mail is properly wrapped as well. Once i didn’t have the label on right and the clerk took the time and fixed it instead of just sending me away to fix it myself. I appreciated that. So over all i would recommend this place.”
“Great little post office. Never a line and Joe is always super friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you. I had to send a package that didn't quite fit in the standard box and he took the time and effort to bend, fold and tape it all together so I could send it. Way more than he needed to do!”

“I’ve been coming here for a while now. The counter people are super nice. The rest…. We’ll USPS is my last choice with any packages. They lie and pass the buck with the worst of them. I sent an overnight package cross country and the carrier ON VIDEO went to the door, looked around and left. No notice, knock or doorbell. The same carrier came back the next morning, signed my clients name (incorrectly) and dropped it in the mail box. They denied me a refund with no explanation. I have the cure… it’s ongoing ???”
“We went to Pearl River Post Office for our passport service. Such a great experience we had over there. Steve and Suraj did take care of everything. Suraj gave us the appointment and the forms to fill in. Once we are there Steve took care of the application process. Took pictures for passport at the Post Office.Customer Care was amazing. We didn't have to wait. I will recommend this place to my friends.”
“This is my favorite branch. It’s always clean and the staff is super friendly. I always run into people here who complain about everything but it’s the same people who’ve decided to come on a lunch break or they’re in the middle a rush to something else. A customers lack of time management has nothing to do with the staffing here”
“Great post office! I run a small supplement business and am a total pain when I bring in a bunch of orders to one branch out of the blue. The young woman who is there the most is very gracious and helpful. Some branches make me feel self conscious about bringing in too many orders. Not this one. I've been to hundreds of post offices over the years, and this one is as kind and capable as any of them.”
