“This is the Best Stewart's gas and food shop in Chestertown.Gas is pretty inexpensive. All the food is on sale. Great deals on ice cream, hot dogs, soda, egg nog, beers and pantry foods. There are about 8-10 pumps up front with plenty of space for cars towing boats, jet skis and winter sport equipment like skidoos and skis. The Stewart's staff was pretty amiable and helpful. Even the long lines were no big deal as people were friendly, even talking to strangers and tourists! It is a very large Stewarts with all sorts of isles for anything your household or travel plans could require. Visitors were purchasing ice creams, racks of beer, cigarettes, soda, lottery and food. Great place to stop in and stock up.Stewart's Shops are the clean and efficient and friendly place to be in New York.Review: 5”

“I live locally, this Stewart's Shop is my go-to convenience store for gas, ice cream, drinks, snacks... The staff are super nice and helpful and the store is always clean. Parking can be tricky in the summer months, but it's wheelchair/ stroller accessible and there's indoor seating and a patio with picnic tables.”

“Stopped here to gas-up on our way home from vacation. We also grabbed some drinks for the road. One complaint that I have is that the prices aren't marked on many of the products in the store, so you don't know what kind of price to expect when you get to the register.”
