This bank is beyond any of my expectations. I have dealt with banks around the country for years. The personal service and connections this bank has made with me and my family has surprised me.

This is a unique bank. They are committed to something long lost, client service, and real interactions with those who are customers. I have experienced it from every single person I have dealt with at various branches.

The manager, Missy, and the assistant manager, Zak have both made sure to reach out to me on different occasions with personal service. I am just a regular customer. I do not have a lot of money. I am not a wealthy client. And yet, they treat me as if I was a billionaire.

I wish all businesses were as good as this bank. Life for us as consumers would be heaven.”

“Today 04/30 I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Jafet Mendez. Initially I had to make a deposit into my checking account and Mr. Mendez took care of that transaction promptly. In addition I needed to Link Venmo to my checking account. I have Zelle but I needed to send money to my daughter who had Venmo and was not able to use Zelle. I had tried to do this myself before I entered the bank but was having difficulty. I asked Mr. Mendez if he could help me with it, as I knew the bank didn't use Venmo. He graciously agreed to help, and the task was way beyond my expectations, as it entailed many steps. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, gracious, and professional. I am very appreciative, as I don’t believe I would have completed the task without considerable frustration. Jafet Mendez is a great asset to Ulster Savings Bank. He went way beyond what should be expected to help a customer and I have a greater fondness of Ulster Savings Bank for it.”

Products are important but the personalized service and the access the team provides stands out from the large national banks where you're only a number and from the all the institutions that try to upsell you products and services you don't need.
