After a disappointing experience at our original hotel in New York, we made a last-minute reservation at the Conrad. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne, and a beautiful high-floor suite with an incredible view toward the water. These thoughtful touches made our stay feel truly special.

I had several packages shipped there prior to my arrival without issue and they even made accommodations on my ill-timed oversize delivery, given their limited space and high volume of guests. Rooms were clean, elevators were fast, free breakfast (packed in the morning) and coffee & tea was available throughout the day. I highly recommend this hotel for those looking to visit the downtown Brooklyn area (Fulton St, City Point) and its close proximity to Manhattan via Manhattan bridge or Brooklyn bridge (both walkable, if you don't mind exploring on foot). “Visiting my son in NYC, I stayed at Hotel 50 Bowery for two nights in September, my second stay. It's located walking distance from my family (East Village), my favorite restaurants (Chinatown), the subway, and I feel completely safe there, traveling alone. The front desk and concierge (Kim) make every effort to ensure I'm happy. I always stay in a small King room because I'm mostly out, and it's plenty comfy and completely quiet. I'm very aware of pricing and found Hotel 50 to be truly competitive. Have recommended to my friends and they always agree.”

“This part of Flushing feels like Taipei, Hong Kong and Shanghai all wrapped up on one, but right here in New York! I stayed in this hotel for the second time because it’s a fairly easy 20 minute walk to city Field to go see my beloved Mets play… That’s solid option good price for New York. Xoshera who manages the Reception desk (and just about everything else) could not have been more solicitous—from handling our requests and doing everything possible to accommodate us, to somehow managing all of our luggage single-handedly, and always with a smile. That kind of warmth and helpfulness makes a real difference. The Franklin has become our go-to spot in New York, and we’ll keep coming back.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at the Bryant Park Hotel and left with only positive feelings about our experience.

Before arriving, we were a little concerned about the scaffolding and the work being done in the lobby, but honestly, there was absolutely nothing to worry about. It didn’t affect our stay in any way, and from the moment we entered our room, we didn’t hear or feel anything related to the work.

What stood out most to us was the people. Everyone at the hotel genuinely seemed to care about making our stay as pleasant as possible. Whenever we needed something, there was always someone happy to help, and we really felt that the staff went out of their way for us. It wasn’t just professional service, it felt warm and sincere.

Even the small details made an impression. Every time it rained, the doormen immediately offered us umbrellas before we even had to ask. It’s a small gesture, but it says a lot about the level of attention and hospitality at this hotel.

Our room was beautiful, modern, renovated and very comfortable, with an amazing view overlooking Bryant Park. There is something very special about opening the curtains in the morning and seeing the park right in front of you, while being in such a perfect location in the heart of Manhattan.

We travel quite a bit, and what we will remember most about the Bryant Park Hotel is how welcome and well taken care of we felt throughout our stay.

“Very good value for the price. The location is very central and convenient for visiting most of New York’s main tourist attractions. They also have filtered water available on the ground floor if you’re not a fan of NYC tap water. The staff was always friendly and attentive, and for a 4-star hotel, I think it delivers exactly what you would expect no less, no more. One feature I really enjoyed was the outdoor terrace-style balconies available from the 19th to the 26th floors, which are great for having a coffee, a drink, or a smoke while enjoying the view. Overall, a very good option for staying in NYC.”

“I stayed at the Grayson Hotel on a recent business trip to the city for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay.

The staff are amazing and were very helpful during the stay. The rooms were nicely renovated and offer led everything you may need.

The hotel is very well located. You are walking distance from Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square, though you are still away from the heavily crowded tourist areas of Midtown. The hotel is also walking distance to a variety of subway and train stations including the 42nd St-Bryant Park subway station and Grand Central which makes getting around the city a breeze.

This is a solid hotel in Midtown and I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit.”

“My boyfriend and I stayed at the NH Collection New York Madison Avenue over US Open weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and we truly had such a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

I called the hotel the day before our arrival to let them know we were celebrating and asked if they could help me arrange a small surprise for my boyfriend with a bottle of Prosecco and dessert. The team went above and beyond to help me put everything together and make our arrival feel special.

They were also incredibly accommodating with an early check-in, and when we arrived, we were so pleasantly surprised to find out that they had upgraded us to an even nicer suite. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our anniversary weekend that much more memorable.

“We stayed in the corner suite at the Times Square Edition for my mom's birthday weekend. The balcony view over Times Square is unbelievable, and inside the hotel is serene and luxurious despite the location.

Service was superb everywhere. Concierge John P helped me organize the whole weekend to make it special for my mom and went above and beyond. Derek at the restaurant was great, the food was delicious, and morning room service was quick and worth it every day.

The location makes dinner, shows and getting around Manhattan easy. We will be back!”

“Gem of a hotel located close to all the theaters, MSG and great food! We didn’t eat at the hotel because we had lots of other plans. The room was exactly what we needed - a place to come in between tourist stops and just big enough! I expected it to be an extremely small room but we had a desk and enough space around the king sized bed for all our bags. Great tables and the bathroom is a great size with all the extras you need, hooks, places to put toiletries. I appreciated a quiet, charming hotel that is clean!!!! Clean is my number 1 criteria. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning!”

“When I read that this hotel was better than you expected, I was sceptical, but when entered Henn Na hotel, I understood it. Super location if you travel by train via Penn station. “We stayed at the pearl hotel over Labor Day weekend and had two rooms reserved for 4 people. The rooms were huge by Manhattan standards, clean, and comfortable. The really outstanding part was the service. Samantha from the front desk helped me with a hiccup in my reservation that would originally not allow the other guests arriving before me to check in under my reservation. She talked me through changing reservations on the phone and reassured that check in would not be a problem for the other guests after the change. Everything went smoothly and we had an amazing time while we there. Would definitely stay here again if looking for an accommodation near Times Square while still having comfort and quiet to recharge for exploring the city. Thank you!”

“Room was basic no frills. Pillows not very comfortable and room had a weird smell but room was clean and met our needs. Staff however was outstanding. Both doorman went out of their way to be helpful. Front desk staff were pleasant. Location is also ideal. So close to subway and street was not overly noisy or busy. Drug store, food and groceries close by. We would definitely come back just for the staff and location.”

“We absolutely loved our two-night stay at the Iroquois Hotel & have already decided it's our go-to hotel whenever we're in NYC. Every single staff member—from the front desk to housekeeping to the doormen—was genuinely kind & made us feel like they were truly happy we were there. The doormen were such a nice touch, making us feel both welcomed & safe throughout our stay. The room was immaculate, & so were the hallways & dining areas. Honestly, the cleanliness was exceptional. The beds & luxurious bedding rivaled those of much more expensive luxury hotels, & they were incredibly comfortable—perfect for our sore backs. Even though we were just 2 blocks from Times Square between 5th and 6th Aves., our 7th-floor room was unbelievably quiet. We slept better than we do at home & never would have guessed all the NYC excitement was just an 8-minute walk away. The dining was another highlight. The speakeasy served delicious casual fare & even let us pre-order dinner so we could enjoy a relaxed meal before making our 7 p.m. show. Breakfast was table service at a private, white linen-covered table w/4 breakfast choices that were more than enough to start our day. I was celebrating a birthday, & the thoughtful surprise of a small bottle of wine & snacks waiting in our room made the trip even more special. Exceptional service, outstanding comfort, impeccable cleanliness, fantastic dining, & an unbeatable location—this hotel exceeded every expectation. We can't wait to return.”

“We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott New York The Bronx at Metro Center Atrium after being displaced by a fire, and honestly, the staff made such a hard situation feel a little less awful.

Everyone was incredibly accommodating and kind to us. They remembered what we were going through, checked in where they could, and did little things that meant a lot — like turning on the fireplace on the patio when we asked and just generally making sure we were as comfortable as possible.

Naomi and Winzell deserve a huge thank you. Naomi was the real VIP of our stay because she made sure my ESAs were taken care of, which took so much stress off my shoulders. Winzell was also amazing and helped us when we needed to extend our reservation for an extra night.

Thank you to Joseph too, for fixing the computer station and printer when we needed it. That might sound small, but when you’re dealing with displacement paperwork and trying to keep your life together, working printers matter.

I also want to shout out the bartender. I’m so sorry I forgot her name, but she was amazing. Her music was always good, she always took care of my drinks, and she listened to me complain when I was clearly going through it. She even made me a vodka Red Bull after I bought my own Red Bull because they didn’t have any, and honestly, that was iconic of her.

The breakfast staff was also great. The food was really good, and the service was always attentive. The two gentlemen who run breakfast on the weekends were so sweet and helped us get breakfast together to bring upstairs for my mother.

And thank you to the cleaning crew for dealing with the mess of our pet-friendly rooms. We had a lot going on, and I really appreciate the patience and understanding.

This stay happened during one of the worst weeks of our lives, but the staff made us feel cared for instead of like we were just another reservation. I’m really grateful for everyone there.”
