Glamour Paws
2 Carpenter Ln, Saratoga SpringsMegan, at Glamour Paws has been my groomer for several years. Before Megan my two small timid pups were terrified to go to the Vets or Groomer’s. Once we met Megan it was like night and day. She’s very gentle, soft spoken and kind, after one visit my pups were no longer anxious or afraid. I have a new puppy now and Megan is a wonderful with her. She’s a great groomer, my pups never looked better. I recommend her highly.

Just Cats Vet
3258 US-9, Saratoga SpringsCame here at first for a second opinion, ended up becoming our preferred vet. I appreciated the vets directness and willingness to try things while working with our cats. All the staff was compassionate and sincere when it was our cats time to cross the rainbow bridge. Our family will cherish the paw prints provided through their office

Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga
63 Henning Rd, Saratoga SpringsGreat vets and staff! Be prepared that the prices are soooo much higher (close to 50% more) than anywhere else I have been. I understand that they have top vets and expensive equipment to pay for, but for example I was charged $85/dose for an antibiotic while my horse was at R and R. I was sent home with the same meds and it was $15/dose (same amount). That is a 500% markup over the already marked up medication they sent home. This is just one of the many surprises I got on my bill. I have gone back because I love the vet who has treated my horse, and the staff really care. But in the future if it is not an emergency that needs immediate treatment, I will drive further to Tufts University Equine Hospital.

Saratoga Springs Veterinary Hospital
1 Dyer Switch Rd, Saratoga SpringsWe had a unique situation with our dog, and Dr. Pam Reppert went out of her way to address our dog's eye trauma issue. Thanx to her caring and accurate diagnosis, Boomer's eye injury cleared up in under 48 hrs. Nice to deal with a veteran veterinarian who has experience and compassion for treating her Client's animals.

Springs Family Veterinary Hospital
9 Hampstead Pl Suite 105, Saratoga SpringsMy pups used to see Dr. Ryan years ago, so after moving back to the area from out of state, I brought them to see her again at her new practice. We were not disappointed! Springs Family Vet clinic is immaculate, and it is obvious the effort the staff has taken to create a truly fear free environment:The office featured a carpeted scale (my boy has never hopped on a scale so fast!), treat stations, and toy bins. We were pleased to find that we were placed into a room immediately, and given a bandana with calming Adaptil spray. My boy was popping into toy bins rather than worrying about being at the vet!Dr. Ryan is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate vets that I have trusted my babies care to. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new vet!

Upstate Animal Medical Center
415 Maple Ave, Saratoga SpringsI cannot thank this vet enough for how they have helped me the past several months. I had to put one of my guinea pigs down after his consistent, severe battle with his paw being injured. Now, one of my guinea pigs is having respiratory issues. I'm a guinea pig rescuer, I intend on forming my own rescue, and despite this vet being a little over an hour away from me, I am so unbelievably thrilled to go there and make the journey when my guinea pigs are having an emergency. Thank you so much

Pet Sitting & Training
Doggy Playcare
474 Maple Ave, Saratoga SpringsBear loves going to Doggy Playcare and I feel completely comfortable leaving him there. He has been going for about a year and cannot wait to get in the door when we bring him. We have also done level 1 & 2 obedience training and can’t wait to do level 3. Bear is a 90+ lb husky mix, not known for being the easiest to train but Jody and Brittany really help us to be successful. I highly recommend everything about this!

Comfort Kitchen
Saratoga Marketplace, Lower Level 454, Broadway, Saratoga SpringsI want to start this off with I am a person who loves trying new places and sitting inside to eat, but unfortunately most places are too packed, loud and overwhelming for me to sit inside and eat. However, this place was not only a safe and quiet place, but it's a tucked away little sweet place with a couple galleries to walk around before or after you eat, or if there's a wait, or just in general if you are an art enthusiast as myself. There is more than enough seating available. And even some outdoor seating with a little area to move around if you have kids that need to run around a bit or are high energy.Food wise. I highly recommend the falafel burger and tater tots. They were both super crispy and so flavorful. Not many places can perfect the falafel, however, i think this place has got it figured out! The side portions are on the snaller side. So, I do recommend getting your own rather than getting an order to split, unless you have a more sensitive stomach or fill up quickly, then it is the perfect amount! The workers were very sweet and attentative if we needed anything.Overall left happy and fed, and 100% comfortable the entire time!

The Broadway Grind
493 Broadway, Saratoga SpringsWhile out and about in Saratoga Springs, NY I stumbled upon this cafe. It was nearing closing time on a weekday so nobody was there but me, and the interior of the place was pretty clean and cozy. I sat for a while inside and enjoyed my latte. Would definitely go back again.

Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.)
3065 NY-50, Saratoga SpringsWe adopted Suzie (formally Lily) from HOPE. They did vet references and everything. You can tell they truly care about where the animals are going. My only complaint would be you picked a cat and they told us to go take a little walk to make sure he was the one we wanted. We were gone five minutes and someone else was already adopting him. However, I feel like it was meant to be because Suzie fit right into our little family. A few months after we got her, we were given a six week old husky pit mix and now even with a 50 pound weight difference they are best friends and cuddle on the couch together. Their adoption center at the mall was clean. They tried to match the potential adopters to the animal and were super friendly. I love that you have to sign a contract That the cat must be an indoor cat only. If anything ever happened they are always a HOPE cat and will take them back if anything happened (we have no plan to EVER get rid of Suzie. Once a family member, always a family member. I just love the policy.) It just proves their love for the animals in their care.
