My husband and I have brought our two dogs here for the past four+ years after experiencing a very devastating loss with another local vet provider in the area.

We have been extremely lucky and very grateful to the care team at Aqueduct Animal Hospital - especially after one of our dogs was diagnosed with bone cancer 2+ yrs ago. The team here has been very accommodating for our visits, some examples include respecting our wishes to not use anesthesia for our dog’s quarterly xrays, finding time to fit our dogs in last minute for appts if we had immediate concerns, the vets and techs making the time to answer our questions with thoughtfulness and directness, and being a sound source of expertise when we wanted a second opinion to make some hard decisions related to our pet’s care. Often times this part of the vet’s job can be deeply misunderstood by loving pet parents who only want to hear the “bright”’ updates, but we’ve found that knowing what the risks and considerations are is actually the most compassionate advocacy that can be made for your pet’s care. The Aqueduct team has been very gracious in their delivery when we had to sit with some tough news.

Lastly, our family is in awe of the consistent and graceful care that Aqueduct has shown us through the past couple of years since we started coming here and would recommend anyone who is looking for a vet that is invested in your pet’s quality of life and care to be a patient here.
