The prices are really reasonable and they also have clearance racks inside the store with various chewies and other toys to choose from at a really reduced cost.
The employees have always been very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful too.

We visited the store with our two children, hoping to find a sugar glider. Although we had done some research, I realized I had many questions once we arrived. Thankfully, Christine, one of the employees, was there to assist us. She answered all of our questions and those of the kids, and also provided great suggestions for the supplies we needed. Christine was with us every step of the way, making our visit truly enjoyable. Without a doubt, this was our best pet store experience!

I also brought my dog, Maximus, to Head to Tail for grooming for the last few years of his life. They always did a fabulous job and I knew he'd be well taken care of while he was there.

The groomer was Brianna Palmer who was gentle, patient and made my baby look and feel great! I will definitely be booking with Brianna every time!

Moose is a sensitive, nervous dog and enjoys staying here. He goes inside with a wagging tail and never seems stressed when I pick him up.

I don’t see it on the online menu for door dash, but if you stop in store I would highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of chicken sandwich’s, eggs sandwiches, bacon, maple syrup, all of it. The store is a cute country store that comes as a pleasant surprise. Not something you might expect so close to Schenectady. A wonderful little shop to stop in and get some snacks or unique kitchen flavors.

The bacon breakfast burritos were delicious (my teenage son devoured his), & my vanilla cold brew with marshmallow foam was awesome. I'm SO glad to see several new places setting up shop in Scotia, & this is definitely one of them!

We ate breakfast and then took lunch to go for our train ride and Rachelle made it all happen with a generous spirit. The food was amazing as well, especially the tomato pie with the escarole. If we're ever in Schenectady again I would definitely visit this restaurant.

It helped us know our dog would be good around other animals. The foster went above and beyond. The dog we adopted is a bit nervous, so the foster brought her dog to help with our adopted dogs transition into our house when we completed the adoption paperwork. Great experience.
