“My family has visited this resort 4 times over the past 2 years and have loved it every time. It has fantastic food (especially dinner), well-maintained facilities with a lot of fun activities during both winter and summer, and the staff is phenomenal. Great staff is what makes a resort memorable. One snow/mountain tubing staff member that sticks out to us is Emily, who always ran up and gave my daughter a warm hug, remembered her name, and was very sweet and caring to her all throughout all of our stays. My daughter can't wait to see her again next year! Thanks for everything, Emily!”

“We had a lovely short stay at Stonehill's. The guesthouse is charming with lots of cozy little spots to post up and chill out with the delicious hot cider and cookies provided. The room had everything we needed and a super comfortable bed. The staff ad owners are all very friendly and accommodating (including Bob the cat and three curious goats). Highly recommend!”

“I went to the spa. Ashley was amazing. They had to cancel my appointment due to staff shortage the same morning. I was initially upset that my partner and i wouldn’t be able to enjoy the day. Ashley heard my frustration and curated an amazing experience for us even though they had to cancel 10/10. The manager came and checked on us. We will be back!”

“We found this hidden gem for our first wedding anniversary in 2016 and have been coming back ever since (now with two kids). Each time it gets better and better. Maria and Joe are divinely chill — think of your favorite cool Aunt and Uncle. The accommodations are exquisitely comfy and chic and Maria’s breakfasts are to kill for (no joke — try to get in between me and my plate at your own risk ?)... on a scale of 1 to 5, Mountain Meadows is at least a 7.5…”

“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Minnewaska Lodge in Gardiner, NY, and our experience was absolutely delightful. The awe-inspiring views of the Shawangunk Mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop, and the hiking trails allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty and wonders of nature. Our room at the lodge was exceptionally spacious, and the bed and pillows ensured a restful and comfortable stay. The continental breakfast offered a satisfying and delicious start to our days. We found great joy not only in the warm hospitality and engaging conversations with Eric but also in savoring his delectable homemade croissants.Overall, our time at the Minnewaska Lodge was truly relaxing and memorable, thanks to the splendid surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and the delightful touches of hospitality of the staff.”

“We booked the 1850 House for our wedding weekend and our guests all enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately, the positive review ends there. Our contract states we would be refunded the deposit within 3-5 business days, however it took 40 days and many unanswered emails and phone calls. The innkeeper Joseph totally ghosted us via email and phone. This was the last thing we wanted to do post-wedding. Very disappointing and unprofessional service.”

“Truly a perfect location, friendly staff, nice rooms, unique proposition where the hotel has multiple locations/buildings throughout town. The hotel bar had some really unique and fun cocktails, including a fun sidecar-esque martini and a tequila based creamy coffee cocktail. The continental breakfast is great, easy but good quality, with attentive staff.Rooms are nice and uniquely appointed, and clean!Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kingston. We brought a dog and it was pooch-approved also!Walkability: Definitely hugely walkable to get around town, and even can walk to a small strip mall that’s a quarter mile awayFood & drinks: Continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel’s restaurant is great, and contends with any top option in the area.Bar is small but lovely with unique cocktails.”

“Pro's -Overall we would stay again. We arrived and were greeted by the owner who was one of the most pleasant people I have ever met! She quickly got us checked in and even upgraded our room at no extra charge. She thought because we were hiking we may want the efficiency room with better wifi. She also didn't want us to feel disturbed when another party of hunters arrived the next day,as they leave early in the morning -I was shocked she cared that much! She walked with to turn on the heat and when we needed more towels the next day was there within minutes. The room was modest, but spacious for two. Comfy chair, desk area,Dish Tv,small microwave and fridge and sink area. Bed was comfy, clean, didn't smell bleachy stiff or have springs-A+ for the bed . Water pressure was good. Area was quiet and close to lots of great hiking . Many awesome local sights and Chelsea is a few minutes from them all .Felt like staying with family. Room was clean.Cons-bathroom was old school,no tub just a shower. Water took quite awhile to get hot like back in the day. Saw some hair and a fingernail stuck to shower wall,it's a minor detail and I am just one of those bathroom people that notice everything. I am sure if it had been mentioned they would have handled it. We didn't feel it needed mentioned because overall was clean. The area is wooded and a lot of bugs get in which no one can help, some sort of beetle stink bug kinda creature. Also,no big deal.If you need coffee in the morning bring a maker as we did. Also there are no vending machines etc so carry snacks in as well. Also only one lock on door ,no deadbolt. We have traveled quite a bit and felt the Chelsea met our needs. I especially enjoyed how much they care about each customer. We will definitely stay next time we are in the area. Support small business!Nearby activities: Sam's Point, Minniewaska, Vernooy Falls”

“The customer service is top notch. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day on the road. The fitness room was small but adequate. We ordered food from the bar and it was very good. We also ate breakfast at the bar/cafe area which was also very good.”

“The room seemed to have been renovated lately and they were clean. They were also pretty spacious. There was a microwave and a coffeemaker in the room, but you can also get (kinda good) coffee in the lobby. The staff were efficient and polite, so no complaints from my side. The only thing was, that there weren't a lot of choices to eat, so we had to drive to the nearest town. A minor inconvenience as it was pretty nice otherwise.Rooms: Renovated and clean.Food & drinks: You have to drive to the nearest town for good options.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. It was an easy drive to Bellayre Mountain. The indoor courtyard and pool were cool and breakfast was good. Be aware that some rooms border the courtyard so if you want quiet/privacy, avoid booking those. Staff were fabulous, especially Bonnie!”
