“We've been loyal AFCU members for years and generally appreciate this community institution. Today's experience, however, was disappointing. Our teller, Evelin, made errors during check printing — using the wrong accounts — and responded with frustration rather than a simple apology. She also commented negatively about the number of accounts we hold with the credit union, which was puzzling given that's a sign of member loyalty, not a problem.
To her credit, she acknowledged having a bad day — something we all experience. But in a member-facing role, especially during what appears to be an onboarding phase, that's when consistent training matters most. The more seasoned staff around her handled their interactions with warmth and professionalism, which reflects what we've come to expect at this branch.
We've noticed some staffing transitions recently. Wendy, who was a true asset to this branch, has since retired, and Ross — a knowledgeable and helpful addition — has moved on as well. We're hopeful management continues investing in staff development so the welcoming culture we valued is restored.
We're not going anywhere. We just want AFCU to be the best version of itself.”

“I've been a member of Americu Credit Union for some years now and I've never had a problem with them. Their rates are unbeatable, even for a 22 year old like me. No fee checking accounts and conservative rates for savings accounts are the norm. Friendly and helpful tellers and advisors are always available to assist if they can. The biggest thing Americu has going for it, in my opinion, is their vast network of ATMs sprinkled throughout the area. All Oneida Indian Nation owned SavOns have Americu ATMs in them, and the same goes for Nice N' Easy gas stations. And another huge benefit is their ATMs located at the branch itself. This particular branch has ATMs where you can withdrawl 5 dollar increments, you can deposit checks into your account, and you can also deposit cash into your account. All through the ATM.”
“I've been a member for over 25 years and I've had nothing but good service through GPO. We have our savings / checking accounts, and we've utilized home equity lines of credit, and auto loans. Almost every time the car salesman see the terms of the loan I have through GPO they are stunned at the rate as it is usually 1.5-3% under their best offer. We also were unfortunately the victim of an online scam and they were extremely supportive and helpful. The staff is always very pleasant. Can't recommend highly enough.”

“This is the only competently run branch I've encountered. They solved the problems caused by the incompetence at other branches. The only drawback is that all KB's now have 9am lobby hours which doesn't work for anyone with a job.”
