The owner and staff are all wonderful: sweet, helpful and the shop is very well maintained. But , after weeks of tuning in to her Wednesday evening live stream, I quickly realized that she is also a super chic , and a talented stylist! ! She shares with her followers all things current and hard to find pieces!
The best part is that Lisa and her ‘Mr. X’ ( her partner ) who never appears on camera
Keep a cute banter going throughout the stream.. Lisa will stop and read comments while she is live ,and answers a question or a funny comment ?

“We bought a jacket for my 5yr old 13 months ago. He’s 5 and wore it to death last winter and the beginning of this winter. The zipper was always a little hard to use. It stopped zipping. I was frustrated every time I zipped it up. My son couldn’t do it at all. I knew it was out of warranty so I called customer service. They said they could repair it but it would take 8 WEEKS! Dag. Can’t do that. They said to take it to my local store and ask to exchange or return it even though it’s out of warranty. Ok? Sure. So I went to the Yonkers store. They saw the jacket and how beat up it was. Of course they were hesitant to exchange or return it. I would be too. Najib, the manager on duty came and helped my wife. Even though he was hesitant (reasonably so, my kid isn’t easy on his clothing), Najib let us exchange it. I’m writing this review to show how good a company LL Bean is and how well they handle the grey areas of retail. He could have sent us on our way but he was calm, cool and really helped us out. I’m not a jerk who takes advantage of return policies like so many people do. It’s those folks who ruin it for the rest of us. The fellows at the Yonkers store were solid. Id happily have them on my staff and the Bean should be proud to have them at the Yonkers store helping families like mine sort through tough aspects of the retail relationship. Shop here. They’re good people.”

“Elite Repeat in New City is the ‘caviar’ of consignment shops, and it’s a delight to shop AND consign there.The owner, Ann Marie, has many high end designers such as Dior, Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc… She sells sunglasses, belts, jewelry, shoes, hats, dresses, everything a quality boutique would have but of course, at good discounted prices.To consign with Ann Marie is just as pleasurable as to shop at one of her two stores. Because she is extremely organized and communicates well, I trusted her with my items I had to say goodbye to due to downsizing. She kept track of everything that sold or didn’t sell, not an easy task as I’ve experienced in my dealings with other consignment shops.I highly recommend Elite Repeat to anyone wanting to look like a million bucks, or make a million bucks (latter not to be taken literally of course…).”

“Geraldinas took my size 12 discountined sample, by the fabulous David Tutera, and implemented my vision to create the most incredible wedding dress. I wear a 4 and the dress needed to be cleaned and reconstructed. Sample dresses are worn by all brides to try it on and this dress needed a lot of love. I am so thankful for her team and her expertise!!”

“Stopped here yesterday for a pair of much needed kid's flip flops. There was a sales associate near the front door (all other methods of entry/exit were closed) welcoming me & ensuring mask adherence; hand sanitizer available upon entry; clearly marked signage everywhere to help ensure social distancing and mask adherence; every sales associate was wearing a mask (accurately- over the nose & close fitting); plexiglass encased each register/check-out area (another bottle of hand sanitizer was available at each register area), etc.All sales associates were professional, helpful and courteous. This is the first time I have ventured into a non-grocery type store since March of this year due to Covid. I was very happy to see that the management of this store takes the health and safety of both their employees and the public seriously.”

I came here to rent a suit in a pinch and found the staff here to be very helpful and friendly. While I'm told they usually do tuxedos and other wedding related rentals, they were able to set me up with a three piece suit at a very reasonable price that worked nicely for the occasion. I was very happy with with they gave me and I'd highly recommend giving this local business your patronage.”
