“I find myself heading to this place when I'm at a loss for what to have for dinner. Nothing fancy, this deli/grocery is what I imaging a bodega to be in the city: good food, not too expensive, great taste, filling.
My go to is chicken over rice or lamb over rice. Try the hot sauce, but only dip your toe into the water until you know how hot it really is.
Worth a trip from anywhere in Ulster County.”

“I'm not sure of her name... but the woman with the dyed red hair that helped us this afternoom with ice cream, is an absolutely wonderful worker. So sweet, patient with my boys, even gave one of them a sample of the new ice cream flavor. Five stars just for this interaction alone!”
“In my busy day I rushed in to pay for gas & at the same time get change of money not realizing what I was doing the cashier calmly tried to make sense of what I actually wanted & made me realize I had to slow down long enough to make sense of things especially things that are as important as money. I felt so bad that I couldn't stop apologizing for my nonsense, but he was a gentleman & smiled & said "slow down & things will get better for you now go and enjoy your day and if I don't see you again happy holidays and have a good life." I was feeling like a lil piece of terd, yet I was blessed in how kind & patient he was with me. I'm definitely going there again & recommend anyone else as well. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE STAY SAFE.”
“I travel alot and my stops are always stewarts in different areas for coffee, snack and to use the bathroom . This shop the manager Donna is always so nice and every one of the staff greets me as soon as the door opens. It's so nice makes me smile. Then the coffee is always fresh and my boyfriend appreciates that then last is the bathroom, it is the cleanest so far in any stewarts even the new ones. So thank you very much fir your service.”

“Loaded with candy, soda, beer. A normal corner gas station..but it's a Mobil and that's a detergent gasoline that I use exclusively. There's another one on 23A in Palenville and another on 32 north in Cairo....all about the same .”
“I just got into the spot on time before their close at midnight. I was looking for a service area but somehow I took the exit and thought it was a service area but it isn't but it turn out to be ok. They have a restroom and I got some coffee and ready to rock and roll.”
“The staff here always seems to be doing everything they can to run a great store and make their customers happy. Stewart's brand products are almost always delicious and affordable. Thank you Stewart's!”
“Great service and well-stocked with everything you need. The 24hr factor is a lifesaver in an otherwise sleepy area.I can’t say enough about how efficient and kind the staff is. True professionals.”

“Price was reasonable. Sunoco same price cash, debit, credit pay. No interaction with staff. The citizen, we met sent us in the wrong direction. Had a negative attitude.”
“Very busy place. Parking can be tricky if you aren't getting gas. Normal selection of typical snacks, drinks, coffee etc. The big plus is they will custom make your breakfast sandwich fresh for you.”
“Best Stewart's Shop in New York. Fully stacked. Easy horseshoe-like cashier counter (with about 3 Points Of Sale). A few tables by the window. This staff is so diligent, polite, easy-going and happy. If they are not helping customers; they cook up the snazziest pizzas and wrap up cool-cat breakfast/lunch sandwiches. This Stewart's staff'll knock your socks off.All the ice cream flavors, smokes, cigars, beers, milk, candy, food, soup, cleaning supplies, sodas, chips and lottery are here. Never sold out. Never dirty. Always the best, top-notch staff and purveyors. A real pleasant, small town pit-stop. Come speak with the Good Old Boys and talk about old cars!Review: 5+”

“Today while at speedway I was verbally attacked by another customer.. the customer said extremely vile things about me loudly on the phone for absolutely no reason and then continued to say it to my face. I don’t know how I was able to stay so calm during the altercation but I want to say that I am very thankful for Tony behind the register and Jason the district manager for the way they handled it and helped me. Not only did they resolve the matter but afterward Jason stepped out of the store and spoke to me and calmed me down as I was crying because the customer was that out of line. Jason went out of his way when he didn’t have too and I am very appreciative of that! Thank you to the speedway staff for how you handled my situation.”

“went in to get a couple things and needed to use the bathroom. Matthew who seemed to be the manager was so helpful and kind. These days I hardly ever feel greeted with kindness when I come to stores so it was really welcome and appreciated on this rainy late March Saturday !”

“When this place was the former Hess station, rarely if ever, did I ever come into this store. I felt it to be too far from the jobs I was working at and since this store seemed to never be open when I needed it, I never stopped here years ago. But ever since I left my jobs near your competitors who were closer to my work, I've been finding myself coming into this store and gas station quite an awful lot. (I've even created a Speedy Rewards account as well). But from my observations starting back in January 2017, one experience isn't like any of the others. Every time I walk in here, there's always some fresh new employee on the register. I'm either going in to buy a Freal shake or to put money on my 3¢off Speedy Cash Gas card, and every time, I get what I pay for. I really don't like that there's no LTE in this region (so check-ins aren't an option on a common mobile app for this store) but that's not too big of a problem for me. I come in routinely now; between my brother and family and I, it seems like we never get to go any place else to get gas or some of our real quick stop-ins for a quick snack when nearby. In tonight's journey in (where my mom came in and got gas for two cars) and put a boatload of money on a Gas card she had, after having paid to add money to a gas card then coming out to begin pumping while entering my rewards number, she had problems getting the gas card to accept at two pumps (pump #4 and later pump #1). After entering the Alternate ID for the rewards card, it would ask for the card (we'd swipe it and all it would do is say "Please wait". We'd wait and it would just stand there for several minutes.) When we went in to gather someone to actually get them out to observe (they had two people working the shop inside), the employee finally observed and got it to go through but almost didn't trigger the Alternate ID at the pump. Ugh! If the other nearby Kingston, NY location ( wouldn't be as grumpy as they seem to be when we enter, I would have said "let's go there instead tonight", but we attempted here and got results to get it to work. What my mother was really concerned about was that the sign says 10cent difference if you use the gas card, but after checking my Speedy Rewards app, that problem is only a once in a lifetime if you'd like to redeem points (which at this point I'm not willing to do!)”
“These guys are a nice vibe and make a solid lunch sandwich. Really appreciate all the healthier options of snacks and drinks amongst the usual garbage found at delis. I'm pleasantly surprised and I think nobody knows about this place.”
