“My Muffler on my car had broken at the tail end of one of the Catalytic Converters, It completely broke and was rusted and hanging off the car, The noise was driving me insane, I didn't have alot of money and where was I going to take it last minute and get it in. It is so hard these days to get Great Customer Service, let alone "OK" customer service and that is such a big thing today, because people want and need that, they need to know that the vendor/owner of a business can be trusted to do a good job and not lie, steal or cheat you. The gentlemen took my car in the same day, repaired the muffler at the break, but also clamped everything down solid to the car, so there was no fear of the muffler coming off down the road, he also took the time to weld another location that had a hole, he went out of his way to do a great job, (I only asked him to fix the break) and I felt I was charged accordingly, not taken advantage of because I'm a female, I felt comfortable and safe, and he was very nice. I definitely would recommend taking your auto needs to this facility. I definitely will be using him again. Thank you Sherri 2006 Subaru”

“I am not one to leave reviews, but I had to share what a great experience I had with Ken and his shop! I went off the road in late december during a snow storm and damaged my front end and second row door on driver's side. Insurance company low-balled me with their estimate assuming only cosmetic damage and did not include several damages in their reports (shocker I know).
Ken brought my car into the shop, thoroughly inspected it, discovered damages under the hood as well. He sent back multiple supplement reports and made sure the insurance company included all damages previously missed. His response time was very quick, and communication to both myself and the insurance company was great. Turn around time with paperwork was very quick, parts came in very quickly, and he had me in and out of the shop within days. The final work is immaculate! The paint is seamless and the car looks brand new!!

10/10 would recommend Ken's shop to anyone in need of autobody work. Can't thank him enough!!”

“Called to have car inspected. I already knew what the problem was, but purposely didn’t say anything to see if the place would figure it out. The mechanic found it almost immediately. However, because of where the problem is, it would require the whole part to be replaced. He called his source only to find out it would be very costly to get it from them. So he went on his phone and found it for a lot cheaper online and suggested for me to get it online and to bring it in so he can install it. So not only has he proven to be reliable, but also trustworthy and actually care. If there’s a mechanic in the cohoes and Waterford area look no further than Mack automotive. Especially considering he not only inspected it for free but then brought me in the back and showed me. On top of the fact that not many mechanics are willing to let you just bring in the part yourself. Even if it means, it’s gonna cost you literally 10 times the price. Other places were even gonna charge me just for the inspection alone. Highly, highly and I can’t say this enough, I very highly recommend this place. I am getting the part online and will be having them install it. This place is like finding a needle in a haystack. Nice small garage did I drive past all the time and didn’t know about. I have no doubt they work and I say this from experience is going to match the content of their character. Too many times have I seen mechanics who are greedy and those are the same mechanics that will cut corners and not do the job correctly. But hey that’s ok thst just means you will bring the car in again am I right? Once the work is done I’ll update this review. But I have no doubt the work will be done properly.”
