Woke up to a tire sensor issue on my Abarth that has track mods / tires—called cold, and even though the shop was booked two weeks out, he had me in the bay within 10 minutes from first point of contact. Recalibrated all four tires, shared some Italian-car wisdom, and had me rolling again. Shops that take pride, deliver top service, and shoot straight are unicorns. I dropped my car off right when they opened at 7:30 to have four snow tires put on (which I bought elsewhere and brought in), and I was helped immediately. “It was 20 years ago when I first time brought my car to Capitol Mechanics after in some other places the problem was not resolved. Since that time Capitol Mechanics is the only shop, which I use for car repairs and maintenance. Mike and Tina never push me to do some unnecessary work; on the other hand, they do all necessary maintenance that allows me to keep my cars in good condition for more than 10 years. Their business works with cars of all possible models and years – in their garage I saw Rolls-Royce from 60-s and Mustangs from 70-s. They recently purchased new equipment that allows them to work with trucks. They are nice and friendly people and have good professional mechanics in their workshop. DM, PhD.”

“I don’t often write reviews but I believe in giving credit where it’s due and my experience here was exceptional.
I’ll start by saying that, as a female, I absolutely dread coming to body shops out of fear my lack of knowledge in the area will be taken advantage of. That wasn’t the case here.
They provide discounts as well as cash-pay discounts for those paying out of pocket and gave me a quote over FIFTY PERCENT LOWER than 3 other highly rated, family owned shops in Latham!
Khach and his team were extremely attentive, transparent, and consistently provided updates throughout the process. In the end they put out good, honest, reasonably priced work and my car was done in less than two weeks looking better than it did before the collision.
I’m incredibly thankful that I decided to get one more quote and stumbled upon Troy’s Best. Should I ever need repair services again I would absolutely return!”
