“I walked in not knowing a thing about paint. I walked out learning that you can’t just point to a can and paint magically appears! lol I had O’Neil helping me and he was super patient and helped me find the colors that I thought I wanted. He gave me some suggestions on paint contrast and I went with it. He was extremely knowledgeable and made my paint buying experience super easy! I will definitely go back the next time I paint something! The staff all seem very friendly and provide a positive vibe to the store! Thanks guys for such a pleasant experience!”
“These guys are great. Always have the tools I need and if there is the slight chance they don’t have it, they order and ship to the store or direct me to where I can get it. Outstanding customer service and the personal feel of a mom and pop family store operating under a name brand (Ace) platform. I strongly recommend!”
“Peter the store Manager is a true gentleman and Carlos the Assistant Manager always a great help there bayside paint is the place to buy all your needs in paint because they treat you like family. Thank you to the staff there as well you guys are awesome.”
“I like this store because even when is lots of people in you don’t wait long to be served, also most of the staff is friendly (the one that’s not friendly usually don’t stay to long-that’s what I notice)if you do high and jobs this is the place for material, cost little bit more but you got quality material and quality job”
“This paint store is very good. The service is always top notch no matter when I go. Sometimes it gets busy and you have to wait a little but the people working there are very knowledgeable about paint and brushes and will help you decide on whatever project you want to do in terms of paint and supplies. The quality of the paint is great. Never had any issues tbh. They also have parking outside. They're right off a major street but just have to be careful is all”
“Good service. You always have someone to talk to. They have what you purchase on the computer and for which room, but you should buy from them as other Benjamin Moore sellers do not always maintain this information for future use. One time the contractor did not let me know they were painting the following day which was a Sunday. I went to a different store because they close on Sundays. Work done recently, I now have to cut out to match the colors. No fun because I am getting but not perfectly great at plastering. This place is great. When I don't use them, I use Sherwin Williams on Bayside. I think am staying with them and gave 5 perfect stars. They deserve it! Thank you! I am a woman. I do most of my work. They help me. Unfortunately I need to paint the ceiling. Will get advice from them again tomorrow. Need more paint! McGee”
“The gentleman behind the counter, Lou, was very helpful and informative. He answered all my questions and helped me find everything I needed. He even got me a box so I could carry all my stuff out to the car.”
“Amazing service… careful listening to my needs… quick… excellent price…. Helpful all the way to my car with all my paint. Couldn’t ask for more from a community paint store…. Way better then chain stores.”
“Mauricio is the man. I called him to find an order from two years ago and he check the system and found it saving me the headache of color patching paint. I appreciate the team they have at this store!”
“Absolutely had a fantastic experience here! The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me to the perfect paint for my project. I love the selection and can't wait to start my painting adventure!”
“A lot of good stuff, whether you're a DIY-er or a Contractor of some sort, Riverhead building supply is pretty much your best bet for building supplies and home improvement materials on Long Island, NY.”
“Everyone in the store is very friendly and professional. Recently, I made a car key, price was very reasonable. I am very happy with their behavior. I recommend you to go there and you can trust them 100%.
May God bless you all.”

“I just wanted to shout out and thank Kyle for how incredibly helpful he was! I had purchased paint that ended up not being the right match for my wall, and Kyle took the time to help me get the color matched perfectly. He was so kind, patient, and accommodating and really went above and beyond to help me. The new paint is a perfect match and I’m so appreciative of the customer service he provided. Thank you again!”
“The guys really took their time helping me find the best paint. They explained the difference in the 3 brands (Ben, Regal, and Aura paint). It was the best class in learning about paint.
Thank you guys”
“I accidentally placed my order at the wrong store, and there were only two minutes left before closing. The manager was incredibly kind and accommodating. They had someone quickly pull my items from the shelf so I could still get my order before they closed. I really appreciated their willingness to help, especially at the end of a long day. Excellent customer service—thank you for going above and beyond!”
“They fixed my remote key in all of 10
minutes. Friendly service with the jokes. I’ll be back. I was getting worried, this is not the first place I went. Thanks Guys ??”
“Design center was awesome! So helpful picking out my hunter Douglas window treatments. Also, great color match on the paint side to help match the trim work to my custom window treatments.”

“Just want to said Tommy ...George and his crew are the best! I have been doing business with them for years...I live in Floral Park but go out of my way to do business with them...they are that good.”
“The quality of the paint is good, and the variety of paints and products is impressive. The customer service is also excellent. And they have a sale every month.”
“We went to the Sherwin Williams on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow /Levittown, NY. Heather and Hans were very helpful and friendly, made everything easy for us. I walk with a cane and Hans carried the box of paints to my car without me even asking. This will be my paint store from now on.”
“After getting my swatches, I was ready to order some special paint when the gentleman behind the counter said it might be better to get paint samples to make sure I liked the colors, because the ordered colors cant be returned. help me with which type of paint to get and brushes. It's a small paint store, nothing fancy but it's good.”
“I have been in this store before! The sales associates are always friendly and helpful. It is a good resource for decorating and planning types of paint and color schemes.”
“The store was fine. I tried microfiber roller cover for 1st time, best one they sell, covered great, but halfway into job bits of fibers started coming off. Stick with purdy, less coverage, but zero issues.”

“Eleanor was excellent. She knew what I needed for my plumbing job. My plumber who renovated my kitchen used an O ring for my kitchen sink tailpiece. Eleanor pointed it out to me and got me a tailpiece washer. It literally took less than 5 minutes to fix. Thank you.”
“What a fantastic experienc!!!. I previously sent an unfavorable review about Sherwin Williams in Merrick on Sunrise Highway. I had to go back to ask questions and decided to go to the Oceanside location instead because of my horrible experience in the Merrick store. It was like night and day. Robert T. went above and beyond to assist me. I explained what I needed and he provided me with guidance and examples so I could thoroughly understand what I needed for my project. He didn’t even know about my previous experience in Merrick and still went above and beyond. I honestly was taken aback as the treatment was amazing. He was so receptive in helping me. Everyone should learn from this gentleman. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough about how great this was.”
