    “I want to give a big shout out to the bakery team and bakery manager for their excellent customer service. They made the most beautiful sheet cake for my son’s 4th birthday party. In addition, when my son got unexpectedly sick and his birthday party was rescheduled, they offered to make me another sheet cake for his birthday. I cannot be more thankful for their kindness and empathy during an already stressful situation. I will definitely be ordering all my cakes from here in the future! Thank you BJ’s bakery team!”

    “Went here with my mom on Saturday November 16th 2024 to pick up some little hot dogs for appetizers after going to the walmart in suffern and they didn't have any. This is the 1st time that i've walked into here, and let me tell you, can get awfully busy on the weekends. Nice to see a Bj's Crowded though. It also looks smaller than our local bj's in monroe, but it is also located in a mall, so gotta take the space available. We entered the store, and headed to the freezer section, which was in the back. Store was very clean both inside and out. We immediately found little hot dogs and then waited on line. The line came out to all the way to the back of the store, and we only had one item. Luckily a lady came up to us while on line, and told us that we can pay for our item in guest services, since we only had one and the line was long. That's exactly what we did. The employee at guest services was very nice, and proceeded the transaction smoothly. We then headed on our way to our final destination.”

    “I am a loyal order ahead customer. Earlier this week I placed a large order ($135 worth of items) and had my husband pick it up. Despite him checking, he and target forgot a bag. Later when I got home, I reported the missing items missing and the target app told me I'd be getting a refund. It's holiday time, mistakes happen, no big deal. The next day we decided to reorder the missing items. When I arrived in the parking lot to pick them up the place was packed but luckily I was able to find a spot in the designated area. My order came out shortly and the customer service representative apologized profusely for forgetting the one bag earlier in the week. He told me he brought it out and it was in my trunk, along with the new items I ordered. He then proceeded to give me a $20 target gift card. When I got home I did have the refund in my account for the missing items. I was truly touched by the great customer service. This simple act restored my faith in the order ahead program and I will continue to shop at this target location. Great job!”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
