“I opened an account here almost a year ago, after being constantly disappointed by my then banking institution.I wholeheartedly recommend this Credit Union. The staff here are always interested in assisting their customers at any given moment. They have remembered who I am every time I go to this branch. They are friendly, professional and they never make you feel like you are intruding. And you never feel like you are an imposition asking questions they probably heard a million times. The staff always answers with a smile and always asks, before you leave, if there is anything else they can help you with. To mention the staff I have regularly dealt with are Brian, Emily,Chad and Elanda. They are the epitome of what customer service is and should be like everywhere. With recent time sensitive issues, Elanda and Chad were instrumental in getting my issue taken care of with the utmost respect to me and to my situation. “I just wanted to say that I am sorry to the bank tellers who were working today between 1:00pm -2:00pm. I didn’t catch their names, but two tellers were doing all that they could with a line of people and DID NOT DESERVE the nasty comments some of the customers waiting in line said. Shame on the two old men, who were clearly impatient and have nothing better to do with their lives, that berated the two tellers. Shoutout to the workers for staying calm and not feeding into the unnecessary behavior.”

“We switched to NBT to get rid of the overarching and overreaching Bank of America and we had advice to do business with a hometown bank .We also have a second home up north. The bank is very prevalent in that area. The customer service is amazing and we are very happy. There's a glitch with our statements in that we like paper statements and even after several f-t-f with branch managers, they cannot get all our accounts on one statement mailing for some reason. Overall a 5 star bank and we love the branch in Gloversville for all their friendly service. The branch in Guilderland had one teller that was not so 4 or 5 star, but hopeful he's fixed that or is gone.”

I believe because it was Saturday they're might have been tire. The associate on Hoosick Street branch, took care of it and train another employee to.”

“I have maintained a checking account at Trustco for a few decades. The service at the West Sand Lake branch is first rate. They are helpful when it comes to assisting with certain transfers (wire and otherwise), and have always, and I mean always, been ready, willing, and able to help. Although there is always some shifting around of personnel, there is also continuity, which is helpful - always nice to be recognized as a regular customer. And the cherry on top - there is usually a notary available. Overall, top marks.”
