    “Love this place- has great veggies, fruits, sauces, unique desserts, flowers, cheeses, drink mixes- there’s just so much I get overwhelmed when going in. Oh and homemade dog biscuits which my dogs love. My only complaint- I was in there today and a young female employee and older female employee were both bashing the owner and complaining very loudly about working there- saying things like “don’t forget this or we’ll have to hear them tomorrow”. Yelling across to eachother from the register to where the young girl was unloading veggies. Found that to be very poor taste and not right for the owners, who I have met several times and seem to be a very hard worker. Don’t get me wrong, we all have our moments and everyone complains but very, very, unprofessional to be loudly complaining about your job and employers in front of customers. Other than that- 10/10 A++++”

    “I cannot say enough good things about Schmidt’s. The food is consistently phenomenal. Everything is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. We’ve also used them for catering multiple times, and it’s been amazing every single time. They make everything so easy, and the quality never disappoints. But honestly, my favorite part is the staff. They are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their customers. I actually look forward to going in just to see them. It’s rare to find a place that has both incredible food and such great people, and Schmidt’s truly has both.”

    “Food from the hot bar is SO GOOD. I also get fresh rolls here every couple days, and I get produce like tomatoes and fresh summer corn. The cashiers are always friendly. I always pay cash and have never had any issues. I'll be back in a few days for more of the rice and beans and the braised beef that was so good I had to force myself to stop eating it or I'd explode.”

They also have an insane variety of quality Russian beers. Highly recommended for anyone craving some minor Russian items that does not require an extensive shop.”

That's when I stopped visiting their East Setauket store, as this branch is much more convenient. The food is delicious. The store, including bathroom, is very clean. Cheaper conventional, as well as organic items, are available. It's great not having to read labels as much.....I trust them more than other stores for safe food. Everything is Non-GMO, for example, while elsewhere, buyer beware! The staff is terrific, all except one short, rude woman, and the deli offers fabulous dishes! Yes, this place is definitely expensive, but you won't find super-long checkout lines! The wide array of products and healthful foods make it worthwhile for me to shop here. Nutritious food is "preventative medicine".....eat right and stay out of trouble! I'm worth it. You're worth it.”

And although i will often shop at other grocery stores closer to where i live i have found the hampton bays king kullen overall provides the best service from the very courteous, helpful and smart and friendly knowledgeable staff most of whom have been there for as long as i’ve been going to the excellent quality of their produce and meat department. i give them 5 stars easily.”

On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast.
