“I have 4 old apartment buildings in Westchester County NY. After converting all to gas I needed to remove the oil tanks, but it took me 7 years to get it done. Barrier got rid of a tank in a basement in one location and in the last 2 days they removed 3 underground tanks that had been in the ground for 80 to 100 years. This was in one location on three adjacent houses. Two 550 gallon tanks were removed and one 1000 gallon tank was left in the ground and emptied. At that point they opened the bottom of the tank and soil samples were removed and tested. The inspector observed that there was no soil contamination. These are professional people who have been doing this for a long time. They handled the town inspection process, got the soil samples tested and took away the 2 tanks, filled in the holes and swept up the area. I recommend Barrier without reservation.”

“They didn't have the compact car I reserved, so I was given a substitute, which ended up being a huge SUV with new technology that I wasn't as familiar with. However, one employee, Moses Meads, went above and beyond to stay after hours to show me how the vehicle functioned and even offered to swap out the vehicle the next day if I was available. I ended up not being available to return and get another vehicle, but it ended up being okay.”

“I didn't think I could receive exceptional service as I did at the LaGuardia location but I was equally impressed with the service I received from start to finish at the HPN location.Manny was the best! He was friendly, expeditious, and provided excellent customer service. He got me a great car which I ended up keeping for 28 days, and when I returned, he was the one to receive me as well. He went above and beyond, as did the rest of the team ( including the manager, who helped me with my extension) during my experience there. Thanks guys. Great job! Keep it up.”

“I had a very difficult travel experience (delayed flight, cancelled flight, rerouting airports) and throughout all that, the one consistently amazing service was through Hertz. Lena (sp?) was incredible and called me back confirming that my car could wait for me even as my flights were failing. Oscar checked in via calling and text (especially when I couldn't hear over the volume of the airport crowds) regarding my car. They both were so helpful. Even when my flight was cancelled, they were responsive and helpful, and had my car ready for me when I finally got to the airport! Amazing service for a frazzled traveler. It was clearly helpful to have gold status. Pick of EV car...super cute Kia!!”
