“I visited the location recently and seems they do not have a drive-through ATM or drive-through banking service available at the new location. Overall, still a convenient branch, but plan accordingly if you were expecting drive-through access.”
“The staff is very helpful, patient and very professional. I had checked on line to see if they were open on Saturday and it said they were but only until 12:00. I arrived at 11:10 and they were closed. I read on the door that they are only open Monday thru Friday ?. I was able to get things done by the ATM but had questions I wanted to ask. So it will have to wait until I'm in the area again.”
“I read several of these reviews regarding the personnel of Flagstar Bank at 2320 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers. I emphatically disagree many of these comments. I have never had a bad experience at this branch, any branch for that matter. In fact, I always receive the best personal service from the minute I walk in, to the moment I leave. And trust me it's not like I have much money in there for you people who may think that's why they treat me good. It's just who they are as employees. They do their jobs well and with respect to everyone who walks into the branch, over the phone and the drive through. Sometimes, I think people forget their manners. If someone walks in with an aggressive attitude or shows disrespect...In return they may get treated with some disrespect. Though two wrongs don't make a right, one must defend themselves, even in customer service. This is my opinion.”
“My Chase business account got compromised and I needed to replace it ASAP on a Saturday. Went to a couple of different locations neither of which could provide me with any service. Then I came to this branch where I was greeted with a smile by Alexa Martinez. She expertly handled my complicated situation, opened a new account for me, sorted out all the remaining issues (debit cards, checks, money transfers, etc.) and sent me out on my merry way within half an hour with the same pleasant smile she greeted me with. A 5-star service that’s hard to find in a bank. Brava, Alexa!”

“I see the prior negative reviews of this branch. My wife and I have had an entirely different experience and were pleasantly surprised. We understand a new branch manager (Jennifer) arrived a few months back and that along with other staff / developments may've changed things. In general we've found customer service and staff attentiveness in Bank of America to be better than in the other major banks where we have dealings / accounts. We chose this particular branch because we had moved recently, it has a nice parking lot with suitable location, and the other branch in CT where we also had a safe deposit box is closing soon. In our visits here, the staff including manager Faye were pleasant, attentive and went to extra lengths to see if we could also get a safe deposit box (they're getting more and more scarce at all banks, we'd found). Yesterday we found the person taking care of customers as they walked in to be the branch manager Jennifer herself, and then she took two hours to personally help us (juggling her other responsibilities and customers of course) among other things to get a new safe deposit box. In this time we saw other customers including an elderly disabled man being well and pleasantly taken care of, too.”
