“I normally go to Home Depot, and never get the service I crave, so I went to this local hardware store close to where I live, and 3 times so far I've had the best experiences with Max and Joey, Manny. All 3 of these guys are knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Kindness is such a rare commodity these days, and rarer in the Northeast. Ugh. Anyway, that really goes a long way when it comes to the in-store experience. This is my preferred hardware store now. Thanks for your help and guidance. “We ordered custom cabinet grilles/mesh from Katonah (we live in Atlanta). They are just one of a couple distributors stateside for imported premium custom metal grilles. These were beatiful and fit as expected. We did have a tricky problem I think related to the ultimate sealant coat on the grilles from the factory. After troubleshooting a bit Katonah arranged an entire new set made and delivered which was totally perfect. Refreshing to see a company take responsibility and make it right for such an expensive custom order. No hesitation buying from Katonah again!”

“As a female who is handier than her husband and always seems to be the one in charge of projects, I've had my share of sexist treatment in MANY hardware stores--big box and mom and pop. This place is THE BEST. It's a small place and they may not have everything you always need, but this should be your first stop. You'd be surprised what they have in the store. Staff is always kind, extremely helpful, and most importantly to me, they treat women with respect and equality. I've never made a review on here but this business definitely warrants one.
