“The Euro Market is probably one of the best European stores I have been in the States. It was very clean, fully stocked and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. It has a large variety of products from all over Eastern Europe, including meats (from salami, to sausages, pork loin etc) and different cheeses. Overall I had a great experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a piece of home. For sure I will visit it again soon. ?”

“Just fyi . This is a really old little country store for sure. Really just ment to serve the surrounding community with just emergency essential type things. Remember cash only. Absolutely no debit or credit or checks JUST ACCEPTS CASH! Yes he sales gas,out of one old pump. He's as nice as he can be. No cigarettes tho did see motor oil and transmission fluid, and gum. Thank Goodness he did have gas cause after winding up a long long way from the nearest ANYTHING we thought we were so screwed! Thank God I saw this little store and thankfully he did have gas.”

“I am so grateful for this co-op. I only shop here occasionally, because I live in the Piedmont of NC. But when we are visiting family in Asheville, and I need food or supplements, I can trust that French Broad Co-Op will meet my needs. Just now, I was thrilled to find three different preparations of NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) whereas last night I was unable to find it at four different pharmacies and drug stores. “I have a hard time finding something to eat because of IBS and GERD. Its been 3 years since I have had a decent hamburger. BEST BURGER EVER!!!! It even had cheese on it!! No strange greasy aftertaste, no upset stomach, heartburn or the usual stuff. There sandwiches are the best the way a burger should taste!!!”

“I needed some elk, bison, and grass fed beef for a special recipe for our son. I couldn’t find the elk, but a wonderful employee, who knew exactly where everything should be, went above and beyond by taking out every package in the frozen elk row and found what I needed!Then, the young man at checkout was not only very pleasant and efficient, he actually did a perfect job of bagging the food! I had watched him bag for 2 other customers before me and he was careful with the produce and the more delicate items like eggs and bread!I wish I had paid attention to their names! This occurred on Sunday morning —the first gentleman was a tall man with light colored hair and the cashier had dark hair. I hope that management will thank them for me!”

Last visit we got great deals on salmon and ribeye and my mom found three gallon jugs of chili garlic sauce and a bunch of organic vanilla extract that she said was cheaper than imitation vanilla at sams and I’ve literally never seen her happier. “I really wanted to buy roasted chicken pulled off the bone. I bought it some months ago and it was absolutely DELICIOUS and so handy for a variety of dishes. But alas it is not available since the left overs are used in other store dishes. Harris Teeter and Aldi sell this pulled chick regularly BUT yours is better. Please consider carrying it!! “After some troubled times, this place has done a complete turn around. Shelves are full and beer cave is packed. Gas pumps are working. There's even Hero's Pizza with very delicious pizza, spaghetti, manicotti, etc for take out. It's fun to be a part of such an eclectic community store. I'm thrilled they are back, better than ever.”
