“Overall, this was a very positive experience with National.
I was concerned because I arrived about two hours early (around 9 PM for an 11 PM reservation), but the staff was super friendly and helpful, and getting my car early was absolutely no issue—which I really appreciated!
The shuttle service was great, and the rental car itself was clean and in excellent condition. The staff throughout the process were all wonderful.
The only slight drawback was the checkout process when leaving the lot. It took a bit longer than ideal, as there seemed to be a huge rush of about 20 people all trying to exit at the same time, and only two booths were open. If they could staff those exit booths up during peak times, it would be a lightning-fast 5-star experience.
Highly recommend them for the quality of the car and the staff's professionalism!”

“Silas (sp?) was great - I called to ask a day ahead of time if large enough SUV for our party of 5 large guys and ski gear was actually on the lot or if we would get downgraded to what was available - he checked and said no but that he could get me one on the lot from a nearby store by time of our departure which he did. It was a great vehicle. At check-in he was very professionally/calmly managing an irate/nutty/out-of-line customer ahead of me while another attendant took care of me quickly and efficiently. At return we left a jacket in the car and they held for us to pick up the next day. I will rent from this location again.”

“I am ASTOUNDED with how great the customer service was and how Brice was so friendly and helpful. I had a misunderstanding for when I was picking up a rental, but that didn’t stop him. Not only did he and his colleague run the location (understaffed unfortunately at the time), they seemed like they took it as a personal challenge and they overcame it efficiently, with their chest out, but also with a genuine smile that would lighten anyone’s day. Brice was able to get me a car, a GREAT car, and I am incredibly thankful I was a customer during his shift and will even call ahead to know when he’s working just so I can have him as my representative for Enterprise if I need a rental again. Need a rental? Ask for Brice and you’ll be thanking him and yourself that you got him and his assistance. 6/5 stars, hands down.”

Britton Laughinghouse was such a pleasure to deal with at the RDU Airport.
His fellow co-workers seemed to be on their game 100% as he seemed to be a wonderful person to work with and it was so obvious to observe this. They all were happy to be there with his leadership.
So many places I go, people just do not seem to be happy at their job.
Not the case at the Enterprise RDU Airport.
I am guessing Britton is the manager of that facility with those leadership skills.
After my flight in from Iowa, it was so refreshing to see his team on their A Game!
Enterprise has my loyalty after seeing this.
The Mercedes was nice, but I sure hope one day I/Enterprise can go back to the Cadillacs.”

“I want to recognize Kameron at the Hertz RDU pick-up location for going above and beyond to help me after a long, stressful day of travel. My credit card was having issues, and instead of rushing me or showing frustration, Kameron took the time to block off his lane with a cone so I could safely step aside, call my bank, and resolve the issue without pressure.
What stood out most was his patience, respect, and professionalism — he never showed attitude while we waited, even though it was taking extra time. After flying from Dallas to Florida, then Florida to North Carolina (after missing an earlier flight that morning), I was exhausted and stressed. Meeting someone like Kameron who handled my situation with care truly made a difference.
It’s worth noting this Hertz location is not inside the airport but rather the place you go to pick up your vehicle. Having someone like Kameron there made the experience so much smoother, and I’m grateful for his support during a difficult travel day.”
“We traveled for family and needed a vehicle. The Payless experience worked out so well for us. The car was a bit dirty in and out, but the place was super busy, so we chalked it up to that. The car worked for us very well and the price we paid was excellent. It was bundled in with our flights, etc. The checkout was not too long, and the check-in when returning was a breeze. The staff were all accommodating and friendly and very helpful. Great deal.”

“Picking up my rental was as expected, however dropping off at the exact location was confusion and left me circling in the rental car and purposely pulling into a wrong rental agency just to get some help to find out where I need to drop the rental off. When I finally was given the right direction by another rental agency I entered the drop off and waited in line until approached by an employee name Bryon at the North Carolina RTP Airport location who listened to me while I explained my dilemma of having a limited amount of time to get to my flight and still needing to repack suitcase that had exploded in the back of the car. Byron offered to drive my daughter and I to the terminal of our flight so we could arrange our luggage there and still make our flight. He was thoughtful and could see the amount of pressure I was under and stepped in to help us catch our flight back to Seattle from North Carolina. Thank You so much Bryon! You will never know what your generosity did for me at this time and how impacted I was that you went that extra mile. I truly hope Thrifty car rental knows what an amazing employee they have with them at the North Carolina RTP Airport! I think I may have dropped my wallet in the car rental so if anyone from Thrifty customer service could reach out to me my confirmation number was L34322263B3.”
“I don’t remember having any issues like the other people when I came but maybe I got lucky. The dropoff was super fast. The shuttle was the unfortunate part that took the longest. Not sure if they have on site parking for customers or not but I was happy with my car and experience.”
