“Love this little spot. They have some great produce and some specialty items as well. Friendly staff and if you live in Oriental its very convenient. Love that you can get gas with a credit card 24/7. Prices are higher than other places & if you've got a long list it's going to be very expensive here. Great for a few items really fast. Went in today to get stuff for lunch. They've got a good selection of quality lunch meats and cheeses as well as fresh baked breads.”
“Well, I own a food truck, and I was just sick inspected by the Marines and the navy and I pass with flying colors, so I am thrilled and thank you. So much men and women for your services”

“Always clean and staff is always extremely helpful. I find products here that I can't find elsewhere only problem I have is the prices of things not on sale are higher than other stores in the area. The lines are usually short and you can usually get out quickly and efficiently unless it's a high traffic time like Sunday after church or Friday after work.”
“I had the pleasure of having Brittany in pharmacy to help me with a difficult situation. Not only was she very helpful and polite and patient with me but she showed the same characteristics to another customer who was experiencing a problem.
A lot of people could learn from her. I wish I could clone her and take her everywhere I go and say “see this is what customer service looks like in its finest “.”
“I come here alot and Debbie, the manager of the store, pretty much runs it by herself. Ive seen her unload the truck alone, stocking the shelves, cleaning, checking out customers and more. She works all the time and barely has little to no help. Ive been a customer for 4 years and The manager seems to barely have a day off. Some need to understand that, yes it is a little frustrating to wait and have to let someone know you are ready to check out, but remember she is the ONLY ONE working alot of the time and pulling double shifts. I have been in the store hearing the man in charge like the top guy telling another employee they dont need to hire anyone else as what they have is enough all wire Mrs. Debbie is always busting her tail doing her absolute best and an amazing job keeping the store up. So remember just to be patient with her if shes not at the register when ready to check out as shes running the store alone.”
“Pinedale is a great little store. It's not just a gas station. Many times they have had what I needed in a pinch, and I didn't have to go to the grocery store, which is 5 miles either way to the closest ones.”
“The manager & great staff are very pleasant to everyone. They always greet you with a smile & are very helpful .. unlike other dollar generals I've been to. Just wish they would carry gallons of spring water & more stuff for a new home. Towels dishes etc.”

“I've always had excellent customer service whenever I come in. But the night shift is amazing. I'm always scared I'm walking on their freshly mopped floors because of how shiny it is. Katlyn, Tanja, and Tripp are always a tripp, pun intended! 5 of 5 customer service. Wouldn't buy gold/gas at any other station.”
“This store is amazing. The workers and customers put the “family” in family dollar. They work hard to keep the store clean and organized, they know an overwhelming majority of customers by name and know their regular purchases, and they are all so willing and happy to help anyone who asks. They give people the benefit of the doubt and have some of the warmest and biggest hearts I’ve ever seen. I’ve been in horrible pain and a correspondingly bad mood, and it always evaporates when I go here and interact with people. It’s a wonderful family and I love being a part of it. Note: download the app and save $$$! One woman rang up for $48 then applied e-coupons from app and paid $24!”
“This store is amazing and a true jem for those of us who are hispanic and need things we wouldn't normally find in the grocery stores around Havelock. The lady who runs this store is super sweet and respectful as well.”
“I surprised and ordered my mother flowers for upcoming Mother’s Day. I ordered her 60 red roses. Which were five bouquet of roses. My mom arrived at her pick up location and associate came out and proceeded to give her the bags and verified who she was. But my mom noticed that she only had four bouquets of flowers so I called into Customer Service . They were unable to find anyone at first so she had to wait then once they found someone they sent her out to help, but unfortunately, she was unable to help as well they were able to contact Sunny. Sunny said she was the manager and that she would go back in the store and grab a bouquet of flowers. Unfortunately the bouquet of flowers were already going bad so my mom asked the manager Sunny if she could go back in and exchange the colors. Sunny said that my mom would have to move her car and go inside and speak to Customer Service to Exchange flowers. Thankfully, I called and spoke to the manager Richard . He was absolutely amazing. Provided great Customer Service and took great care of my mother. He walked her to the flower area and allowed her to pick her flowers. Richard, you’re an amazing manager and thank you so much for taking great care of my mother. I would give five stars, but due to Sunny the manager over in the Pick Up department, I’m only giving four stars.”
“Oriental Mini Mart is also know as Frank's. Locally owned and family run convenience store in Oriental, Sailing Capital of NC. There is a Grill but you have to be there early in the morning for the famous cheese biscuits and get extra napkins. Frank even has ethanol free gasoline for you boat.”
“In town for the weekend and stopped by for some canned veggies, which we desperately needed. The store was technically closed for the night, but the guy running it stayed open to help us. Didn't have a can opener on us and we weren't sure if our hotel would have one, so he let us use his. The store was very nice and the guy helping us was super kind. Made our night.”
“I wish I could give this location a 5-star rating but I can't. The stores hands are tied as to just what they can and cannot do. However my overall experience has been good. No, not every time I go and God knows the lack of cashiers is enough to make you pull your hair out. Going through the self check-out, I don't want to speak on, having to go to work for Walmart cashiering my own groceries, waiting in yet another long line, waiting for that one person to be freed up to get help because you need a code for a product that has been reduced and you need a special key to purchase it, the shortage of cashiers I have found from North Carolina to Georgia, to California! I can't just say Havelock NC's store because that would not be the truth, and sometimes stocking isn't the best either. What I have found is employees and management that are willing and waiting with a smile, willing to leave what they're doing to help me find what you're looking for. Employees who have gone on their phones to let me know that although I went online searching for a product that I was told Walmart sold, it could only be purchased or ordered online, and it always comes with an apology be it someone working the floor or from management. If I would have any complaints about Walmart it wouldn't be from this level of service. Like when I get my vegetables home in a different light usually they don't and are not fresh! For instance the avocado's to many times are rotten, sad but true. So what I believed to have been a good price for a product actually isn't.”
“Well it has some advantage over the other Dollar store in town. But I purchased a $7 cord for a micro USB and it only lasted one day. I like the birthday card and the card variety here. Friendly and courteous employee's make a big difference”

“Just moved here in July. Dollar General Arapahoe is wonderful. The ladies there are friendly and helpful.....a rare thing these days. Keep up the good work. And if you shop there, be sure to let the ladies know they are doing well and are appreciated.”
