“It's lot of hard to find Korean food are found here and a lot of sauces and paste to make tteok bokki ( the plain rice cakes are available) and jjajangmyeon. They also carry a lot of difficult to find Buldak products.Also they have homemade kimchi that taste amazing! I little on the expensive side since things have to be imported but I'm happy to get the products I've been looking for in other places especially the homemade kimchi. <3

Asides the food area there are other trinkets, dresses, plates. I'm more into food stuff but ill share the images of the other side of the store. (:

“Love this little spot. They have some great produce and some specialty items as well. Friendly staff and if you live in Oriental its very convenient. Love that you can get gas with a credit card 24/7. Prices are higher than other places & if you've got a long list it's going to be very expensive here. Great for a few items really fast. Went in today to get stuff for lunch. They've got a good selection of quality lunch meats and cheeses as well as fresh baked breads.”

“I really enjoyed shopping at Paul's Produce. The produce has always been fresh and in great condition. Staff has been different each time I go but that's to be expected considering his teenage grandkids are there. Teenagers have lots of things to do so they rotate. However today which one has been nicer..All have been helpful (didn't act as though they didn't really want). Always speak when you want in. Just a great experience. I needed a tomato for supper then drove 15 miles??? Just got a GOOD TOMATO. AND they are so good. Early tomato sandwichs. Mrs. Mable doesn't feel her best these days but she was still there speaking to customers. I was walking with cane and help of my daughter. Mable took my arm to walk, she was afraid I would fall. Her husband called her on back. Sweet lady.”

“Always clean and staff is always extremely helpful. I find products here that I can't find elsewhere only problem I have is the prices of things not on sale are higher than other stores in the area. The lines are usually short and you can usually get out quickly and efficiently unless it's a high traffic time like Sunday after church or Friday after work.”

“Pinedale Food Mart has the absolute BEST fountain Pepsi in eastern North Carolina and the ice for their fountain drinks is awesome. Their water goes through 7 filters before reaching the fountain drink station. The employees are helpful & very friendly. I love this place!”

“I've always had excellent customer service whenever I come in. But the night shift is amazing. I'm always scared I'm walking on their freshly mopped floors because of how shiny it is. Katlyn, Tanja, and Tripp are always a tripp, pun intended! 5 of 5 customer service. Wouldn't buy gold/gas at any other station.”

“This store is amazing. The workers and customers put the “family” in family dollar. They work hard to keep the store clean and organized, they know an overwhelming majority of customers by name and know their regular purchases, and they are all so willing and happy to help anyone who asks. They give people the benefit of the doubt and have some of the warmest and biggest hearts I’ve ever seen. I’ve been in horrible pain and a correspondingly bad mood, and it always evaporates when I go here and interact with people. It’s a wonderful family and I love being a part of it. “In town for the weekend and stopped by for some canned veggies, which we desperately needed. The store was technically closed for the night, but the guy running it stayed open to help us. Didn't have a can opener on us and we weren't sure if our hotel would have one, so he let us use his. The store was very nice and the guy helping us was super kind. Made our night.”

“Oriental Mini Mart is also know as Frank's. Locally owned and family run convenience store in Oriental, Sailing Capital of NC. There is a Grill but you have to be there early in the morning for the famous cheese biscuits and get extra napkins. Frank even has ethanol free gasoline for you boat.”

“The manager & great staff are very pleasant to everyone. They always greet you with a smile & are very helpful .. unlike other dollar generals I've been to. Just wish they would carry gallons of spring water & more stuff for a new home. Towels dishes etc.”

“I have to take a moment to recognize the Havelock Walmart because it truly stands out. This is consistently one of the cleanest, most organized Walmart stores I have been in. The store is well maintained, easy to shop, and it’s obvious that the associates and management take pride in it.

What really makes this location exceptional, though, is the staff. The associates I’ve encountered are knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful. There is a noticeable difference when employees know their store, are willing to help, and make customers feel welcome and that has repeatedly been my experience here.

I especially want to recognize the front-end team. They have been incredible. The front end has always been a positive part of shopping here, but over the last month or so, I’ve noticed an even greater improvement. Things seem to run smoothly, the area is organized, and the associates are attentive, friendly, and helpful even when things are busy. Whatever changes or additional focus have been happening recently are noticeable from a customer’s perspective.

Retail employees don’t always receive recognition when things are going well, so I wanted to make sure I said something. The Havelock Walmart has created a shopping experience that I genuinely appreciate, and the people working there deserve credit for that. Keep up the great work!”

“I come here alot and Debbie, the manager of the store, pretty much runs it by herself. Ive seen her unload the truck alone, stocking the shelves, cleaning, checking out customers and more. She works all the time and barely has little to no help. Ive been a customer for 4 years and The manager seems to barely have a day off. Some need to understand that, yes it is a little frustrating to wait and have to let someone know you are ready to check out, but remember she is the ONLY ONE working alot of the time and pulling double shifts. I have been in the store hearing the man in charge like the top guy telling another employee they dont need to hire anyone else as what they have is enough all wire Mrs. Debbie is always busting her tail doing her absolute best and an amazing job keeping the store up. So remember just to be patient with her if shes not at the register when ready to check out as shes running the store alone.”

“I wish I could give this location a 5-star rating but I can't. The stores hands are tied as to just what they can and cannot do. However my overall experience has been good. No, not every time I go and God knows the lack of cashiers is enough to make you pull your hair out. Going through the self check-out, I don't want to speak on, having to go to work for Walmart cashiering my own groceries, waiting in yet another long line, waiting for that one person to be freed up to get help because you need a code for a product that has been reduced and you need a special key to purchase it, the shortage of cashiers I have found from North Carolina to Georgia, to California! I can't just say Havelock NC's store because that would not be the truth, and sometimes stocking isn't the best either. What I have found is employees and management that are willing and waiting with a smile, willing to leave what they're doing to help me find what you're looking for. Employees who have gone on their phones to let me know that although I went online searching for a product that I was told Walmart sold, it could only be purchased or ordered online, and it always comes with an apology be it someone working the floor or from management. If I would have any complaints about Walmart it wouldn't be from this level of service. Like when I get my vegetables home in a different light usually they don't and are not fresh! For instance the avocado's to many times are rotten, sad but true. So what I believed to have been a good price for a product actually isn't.”

“Well it has some advantage over the other Dollar store in town. But I purchased a $7 cord for a micro USB and it only lasted one day. I like the birthday card and the card variety here. Friendly and courteous employee's make a big difference”
