“Always enjoy shopping here. Staff are trained to be pleasant and helpful. Some greet customers as they walk by and ask if we need any help. World Market has a great range of products from chotkes to high end furniture to food and harder to find specialty items for wines, coffees, lamps, home decor, etc. Over the years and recently was able to purchase an unusual gift for a friend who has everything and she loved it. Combining a great range of prices low to high and many items supporting artisans from their villages around the globe, simply brilliant.”

“Tucked away behind the hotel I found this great liquor store. The gentleman in there was super friendly and offered my dog a snack. She was delighted to get the snack and I was delighted that someone welcomed her. They have a great selection of liquor. No wine but that might be a NC thing. We know each ABC liquor store differs from state to state. I would like to thank whoever that gentleman was working there behind the counter that offered a smile and was very pleasant. It made our night for sure!!”
