Hanby Sheila B DVM
58 Waterford Business Center Way, BelvilleIn 2015, we adopted a Dachshund, Darla, from Furever Friends and their partner, Capeside. Darla required surgery and Dr. Sheila Hanby aptly treated her then and through the years and helped Darla live to age 18. We were forced to put her down in March, 2023 when she could no longer walk. For the preceding year, Drs. Hanby and Jeff Phillips kept the sweet girl functioning and as much out of pain as we could. Darla's passing was devastating to us. Imagine how we felt two months ago to get an unexpected call from Dr. Hanby and Sharon Smith with Furever Friends to say they had a ten year old Dachshund named Penny whose owner had just passed. Dr. Hanby and Sharon Smith knew how much we loved and cared for Darla and both immediately thought Penny would be ideal for us. We rushed in to meet her and she greeted us with wagging tail and kisses. It was instant, mutual love. Capeside and Furever Friends are extraordinarily caring and wonderful organizations, We love them both.
